I peed on the front wheel again......just for fun. Hell, my dogs do it when I'm not looking....I may as well get some joy out of it too.....

I don't know if it means anythig but my sons dog pees on my truck a few times a day. In fact the rims are starting to rust. He has a preferance to the drivers side front.

Thinking about doing some preventative maintenance...but the weather down here keeps staying good enough for riding...so I walked past it and did nothing. Just gonna ride that lucky 13 until the snow flies...sometime in February.

Jeez Wheatie, now that you left the snow belt your as bad as a reformed smoker.

You just let me know when the snow flies down there and I'll send you pictures of me still riding

It looks like winter is finally here.

Now I live vicariously thru you guys!

Connected the Warm & Safe harness and mounted the dual remote, tested the liner and glove liners. I think it's gonna be a warm and safe winter. Yeah, it was an early Christmas gift from the wife.

Way to go Joe! Now if I can turn those Philips LEDs into a Christmas present, that would be sweet.

First day I've had to work on this in a week due to a family Disney trip. Got the nose off, cleaned up a few corroded connectors and cleaned and lubed the windshield sliders. I found it's beneficial to take the two outer ones completely off to clean them well. They're the ones that chatter...at least on mine. Lots of crud caked on all sides of those Teflon blocks. Also took the whole rear suspension link pivots apart and cleaned/lubed them up. I've been doing that every year and even though I ride on salty wet roads all winter, all the bearings, bushings and bolts are corrosion free...definitely worth the hassle.

Oh my, she doesn't look so graceful naked. ^^

I don't think I've ever had mine torn down that far all at once. Why? I mean all fairings, exhaust, center and side stands...I do like how you have it suspended on the jack stands.

Installed my SR357 rack, T-Rex Frame Sliders, New Cee Bailey Sport windshield, fuze Block, Ampli-rider, Rambone, and my custom accessory wiring harness I created for the crashed and totaled 2014. Pretty straight forward this time. I didn't wire my aux fork mounted lights - I had to cut that wire when I grabbed them from the totaled bike and that will require some new wiring. Ran out of time.

Also got a new camera.

Tomorrow - forecast is 65 and sunny, sunny, SUNNY!!!!

Tomorrow, we ride!!!!

No, WE do not. You and some of our friends ride. I am at work now and will be working nights all weekend. I am so depressed I did not ride it to work tonite, I drove the Duramax.

Glad you are re-installing all your goodies on the new bike. It sounds like things are going your way.

Well you must be ready to get a house call from Dr. Kevorkian after driving your Duramax. When the new Superduty comes out,, I'll call you to test one,, and like your FJR does,, that truck will overwhelm you with joy.

And I've been riding to work each day btw. In the upper 30's this morning. Low 40's going to work.

Superduty? I passed by a certain Ford dealership around lunchtime today and all the F-250s had enormous signs all the way across the windshields proclaiming $10,000.00 off. That tells me two things:

1. The F-250 is overpriced by at least $10K.

2. You cannot give the POS Ford away.

Seriously, I have great respect for the big Ford diesel and I have nothing bad to say about it. My GMC has one huge advantage over anything on your lot though. It is paid for.

Now, if I can just get my '15 FJR paid off...

At Daybreak this morning Papa Chuy Viejo sadly watched Todd Trepanier of T-N-T Transport load my 2013 Yamaha FJR1300 'Naomie' on to his truck, at this time tomorrow 'Naomie' will be in the hands of her new Owner: Mr. Don Carver of Creston, California. Standing there with my Labrador Retriever 'Oso' on his leash I finally had to shake TT's hand and walk away, because I was just about ready to bawl.

I know our motos are only machines, but the thought I may never ride a motorcycle again breaks my Old Heart. My fourth surgery on 1/25/16 is a Total Reverse Right Shoulder Replacement, I'm praying I can get back to biking! jes' sayin' and nuff said, AMEN!

Yeah Don, I here ya. Even handing away my 2004 to my son was hard. Went to BC and back on that thing as well as Kali and many Rambles and Hootervilles. These are damn fine bikes and have many memories attached to them.

The sad part is now that pristine machine has been sentenced to the hell of bouncing up and down the goat path to the Hondarosa. Maybe when Don builds a new building for all his moto toys he will pave the road.

Hang in there Don. At least your bike is going to a good man, DCarver is one of the best. I am looking forward to a positive result from your surgery. Then you can buy one of the 2016 FJRs and you can brag to us all about the new 6 speed transmission.
