Rode to work this morning as I do just about every day. Ride home was ugly! 50-60 mph wind gusts made that a treat. Then the dumb ass in a Prius that chose to pull out in front of me when she never looked just added to the fun. I anticipated her stupidity and was prepared. Day 348 safely completed.

I caressed it and put the newly purchased toolkit on the seat..then I shovelled some snow from around the garage door. Then I said a bad word.

After looking at my "08 FJR with "05 side cases that I use for "Every day" riding:

I put a $10 / 20 minute limit on the project, then painted my "05 side cases matte black.

(It looks like a $10 / 20 minute project) … but still better than before.

Installed connection for my electric vest and also mounted the GPS.

Saturday mounted new Michelin PR2s, flushed and replaced all brake fluids, replaced rear pads to wrap up day 349 of riding. Today went for a ride to scuff in the new tires and filled the gas tank for the coming week to record day 350. Weather forecast is looking promising for the next week.

Rode it to work, no shock there. Day 351 safely reported. Weather forecast is now calling for a chance of snow on Wednesday but it's supposed to stay east of me more in the Philly area. Hoping that holds true.

Went around the block again and put it back in the garaage. Storm damage everywhere in our parts. No electricity for 3 days. Turned back on last night around 9:00 PM.

Yep! Ordered a spare set of rear pads right away and a new rubber for the shifter as that's pretty worn after 92k miles of use.

Rode it to work this morning for day 352. Weather forecast is NOT good. It's been flurrying already on and off and expected to start later tonight and updates are now calling for 5-9 inches in my area. Setting an alarm for midnight and going full Paul Revere again in an effort to get my perfect year provided the roads are still safe. Really hoping it's clear enough to get 10 safe miles but realize my safety and that of my bike must be kept the priority here. Will keep all of you posted.

Go for it. Weather been sucking here in Allentown. Winds been blowing for days but was nice today only in 40s though.

I'm in the 8-16 snow belt here. Its March snow doesn't last long this time of year. SOON

You are close to 3 Mile Island..I've been down in that area a few times took some photos form west shore. Nice roads.

Just got home. Day 353 complete! Almost 37 degrees out but snow is coming. Penndot already declared some highways off limits to certain vehicles including motorcycles. My streak is intact for another day.

It's not what I did to the FJR today, it's what the FJR did to me today. The bike took me out around Mt. Rainier and made me smile all darn day.

You shouldn't own a POS that does that. I think you should get rid of it and get something that has better manners.
