Too much rain in the last week or two, but the UPS man left a box containing new handguards, Suzuki, for the cold season ahead. Looks like a Saturday morning install. Might even change the Wesson oil.
Rode it to work as usual. Day 564 consecutive ride. Broke 20k miles this year and leaving after work for Reading, PA and the start of the Void Rally in the morning. Should add at least another 1200-1500 miles by the time I get home on Sunday.
Installed the Dark-side Tire for the new owner, Replaced the front tire with a nice PR4 Takeoff someone left here at the Black Hills Roundup, washed the Grey Ghost for the last time -
Rode it to work, miserably after spending the weekend bonus hunting in the Void Rally. Will try to get a ride report typed up and posted. Wishing I was still out on a rally........
Oh yeah, day 568 consecutive ride of 10 or more miles. Realized on my way home from the Void that I've covered 12k miles in the last 15 weeks.
I donned gear and sat on the bike to go to work, then remembered I was collecting a parcel for my wife that was the size of that bike, and had to take the car instead. I hate that.
I think I'm also one of the few people outside the U.S. under the age of 50 who know that 32F is 0C.
30 this morning. The locks to side cases frozen so had to strap stuff to the seat, but was still late to work. Saw a scooter or two in the city but seems like most people are getting comfy in the cages now. Comfortable ride, even after discovering that the liners are not in my Olympia pants.
