Single digits here in DC Metro area tonight.

Gas company has customers with interruptible contracts run on oil in their boilers.

Making a boiler guy pretty popular, worked 8hrs regular and 14 hrs OT last night.

Drove home trying to stay awake, high winds moved my van around.

The little snow on the roads was treated well.

I am so tired of hearing you guys complain about the cold weather. You just think you have it bad. It was so cold this morning @ 3:45am that I had to put the grip heaters on medium! It got all the way down to 46 degrees F! I even had to zip the liner into my Tourmaster.

I honestly cannot imagine being in a world where snow would prevent me from riding. Reading the posts in this thread has taught me a great deal about life north of the Gulf Coast.

Same here. It was minus 17 earlier. That is the coldest I can remember since living in the Catskills. I blame the Canadians.

It was 11 F below zero this morning when I checked. Even too cold in the garage to contemplate some winter maintenance.

I think my beer fridge out there is actually heating the contents.

But the weather folks are saying we'll have temps in the 40s and 50s this coming week. Spring is on its way!
