Gone from bitter sub-zero cold to wet, sloppy snow. We have ice coming tomorrow.

Sometimes I hate living in NJ, and this is one of those times....

No temps below 80 all week, and sunny. Just have to grin and bear it.

Good heavens... 65 degrees this morning but heavy downpours (like the streets and highways are covered in inches of water downpours), very strong winds, tornado warnings, trees and palm fronds all over the roads, large metal road barrier pushed into the first lane on the highway, multiple accidents blocking lanes... fun commute!!

I was cruising along in my nice dry Jeep thinking what it would be like to be riding in this...

That is what Pop and I rode in yesterday. I mentioned several times that we would have been dry in the truck. Pop was happier wet and on the bike.

Last week had a foot of snow in the yard and piles of snow as big as the FJR, now after a week of temps at or above 50 it's all gone, dry and sandy. Now if the city would get out and start cleaning the streets.

Supposed to be 54 degrees this Saturday and my son is coming home from college for the weekend. We'll be riding. Not sure where as yet, but we'll be riding none the less.

Washington: National Weather Service Issues Flood Warnings for Several Rivers in State......The warning, issued for rivers including the Snoqualmie and Yakima, remains in effect until late Tuesday night for melting snow and rain, the National Weather Service said.

Several rivers, including the Snoqualmie, are under flood warnings today. Air 4 flew over Snoqualmie Falls this afternoon and you can see just how fast the water is flowing.

So much for early spring. At the rate the snow is falling I'll be on the tractor before the day is done. I'm gonna strangle that groundhog.

Keep in mind it snowed recently and Monday there was still snow on the ground.

Temp at 4:30 am here was 61, high today expected to be 73.

Yes....I rode the bike to work... :)

For some reason today I was not comfortable on Scar running errands. It took me a few minutes (I have been working nights and do not think clearly) to realize the grip heaters were on. At 78 degrees I did not need the heaters. It was sunny and beautiful but I was stuck in Baton Rouge traffic.
