It's cold here the damn potato plants froze a couple nights ago.
The Big Horns got about a foot of snow yesterday and earlier today.
Man, I am feeling your pain! I hate winter more than you.And suddenly, the fall weather is upon us! High temperatures the last two days have been in the mid 50's with an overnight low tonight just a few degrees above freezing. I rode for 150 miles or so both yesterday and today and wished I had dug out the heated gear - in the high 40's much of the time. It is supposed to improve a bit in a couple more days but I would expect our first "hard" freeze within a week or two. The Canadian Maritime provinces are somewhat moderated by the proximity of the ocean at this time of year - snow that stays isn't usual before late November. Nasty cold isn't expected until January or so and then it can get really ugly. Some people like autumn but, for me, it is the beginning of the end of riding season. HATE winter.
