It's a balmy 19 here right now and looking like it could start snowing at any moment.

WNYFjr is right in the middle of this mess.
I was thinking aboot those guys - my SIL lives in Buffalo and has been posting pictures of the snow on FB - it's nuts up there!

My other satellite store in Hamburg NY has been getting 4" hr. all day. Started last night. They are nearing the 4 ft mark. Made the WeatherChannel as well w live reporters. They say it may be 5ft before all's said and done. Friggen crazy. BTW, 90 miles to the East at my store?. Nothing, not even a flurry but it is quite cold (24F).

Lake effect squalls are a real bitch.

Thankfully, we rarely get them here. It just gets colder than a witches tit.

First day above 20 degrees in about a week. Got to 40 today!

Snow melted a lot , some bare roads now. Looks like it will be clear through Saturday then more snow.

I'm on a kinda extended work assignment in Malta New York. Missed the horse racing season, now just looking forward to months of cold, miserable weather. Currently 23 degrees - how do you people live this way for 5 months per year!?

I normally don't run the swimming pool heater in order to save on gas bills, but of course for Deb I would certainly make an exception. This is the very least a Beemer and Feejer Buddy can do for a Motorcycle Pal! jes' sayin' and nuff said, Arriba-Ai!

Along with losing his mind he seems to have miss placed about a 100 lbs.

High 30's and low 40's here today (Seattle area) after a couple of weeks of sub-freezing temps. Nothing like the eastern half of the country though. No snow or rain so nice dry roads made commuting on the FJR possible. Oxford Heaterz are pretty good but a heated jacket liner and heated gloves have a certain appeal right now. Tourmaster Overpants keep my legs warm at 28F and freeway speeds at 6AM. May go to the IMS this weekend to see if I can score some heated gear at prices my poor budget will support. Not likely as my daughter just told me she is engaged and they plan to get married next summer. Probably in the Birmingham, UK area since that is where here Mom's family lives and daughter works/lives in Bristol, UK. Airfare is a lot more than 20 years ago.

Took 2 hours to clear my relatively short driveway yesterday (only 1.5 hours this morning). The ground isn't frozen yet, so the layer of snow at the bottom is packed and wet. The snow itself is that perfect snowball-making sort, packs real easy. So much so that if I try to cut more than a 6" swath with the snow thrower, it just packs up in front of the auger and the thrower becomes a plow. Storm sat over us for more than 24 hours, which is why some areas here have already gotten their entire winter's average snowfall already. Storm moved off to the north overnight and right now, where I am (30 miles south of Buffalo), it's a beautiful sunny day. In the city, they're getting spanked. Another system is supposed to come in tonight and dump more snow through Friday early am. Maybe another foot or two.

And of course by Monday it's supposed to be about 60 degrees, so all this snow will turn to water that will likely cause all manner of flooding...

Hey Russ buddy, I'll be glad to go down and ride your bikes for you while you are back east. What else are friends for .....

Heat wave. 26 this morning with heavy wind on the way. Guess I better fix the roof on the pump house that the last wind storm took off.

At work and we're waiting on a delivery of a tank for our chrome shop coming from Rochester,NY. Second day in a row they've called us and told us they can't even get a truck in yet to pick it up much less deliver it to us in PA.

Glad you're making it through. Sooze's sister has put some pictures on FB that are crazy!

Stuck at a hotel in Buffalo (Cheektowaga), NY for the second day.
Go to Peter K's. Get the Polish platter.
