We had about 6" of the white on the ground. Warmed up above freezing for a few days with a steady drizzle. So we lost it all. Well, 'lost' isn't the correct term, because you can't lose something you don't want.

Anyway, Snowed again on Monday night and were back up to 6" of snow on the ground. Stuck to the trees and everything nice and clean.

That'll last until the first wind and we'll be back into winter in all it's shititude.

PS. Wheatness, you suck!

Currently @ 6C here, which isn't bad considering. However it snowed all last night, and there's now +45 cm of wet, heavy white crap. I had to strap on the showshoes to get to the snow removal equipment. Driveway is now plowed, and a couple of pathways shoveled to clear for opening/closing yard gates. Some of the trees didn't fare well, so I'll have some major topiary to do in spring when this sh!t melts away.

I think next year I'll inflict myself on some of you southerners for a month or three...

Today's footwear of choice

He's funnin widcha boy. He's sayin that even the horrible days down there are awesome riding days. He's sayin that you need to change your locale to warm environs. He's giving you the double u-turn middle finger!

Three more days up here in the frozen wasteland...then it's back down south to my FJRs. Or atleast the 13. The 04 is going away next spring/summer as a wedding present to wheatonJr.

Sunny and 68 at 5600' here on the warm side of the Rockies.

Going to take the dogs down to let them play in the creek this afternoon.

Sunny and nice. Only 100 lbs per cubic foot as some wet snow can be.

Having our new roof installation completed two days ago -- priceless.

Friday Edit: ^^^^ On Thursday. Last night we got ~4 inches more.

It's a free country, gentlemen. You can move anywhere you want. (Two Boston winters was enough for this wussy. Spent Black Friday in a long-sleeve t-shirt walking around in the woods, wondering about sunburn.)

For our Canadian colleagues: Consult an immigration attorney. Or an emigration attorney.

Was cold the 2 nights where the master bathroom window was being replace (remodel). Daytimes it's been a good thing it's been in the 60s and 70s cause the house is matching outdoor temps with the contractors leaving every door in the house open all day long.

Nearly a half of that nasty white stuff has melted away, however the temperature dropped early this AM, and the wind came up accompanied by blowing snow.

Despite which, I rode my feej today...

...In the heated workshop, in order to get it onto the lift.
