First ride of the season for me, 67f, sunny with just a few clouds nice breeze, did 150 miles this morning, came home to let the dogs out and eat lunch. Going to see if Devils Tower is still there before the late afternoon Thunder storms get here.

Cold and damp for a change. Only 65 degrees out and the sun just started peeking through the clouds. Rest of the weekend and into next week they're calling for 80s and dry. We'll see...

Forecast for 96 degrees today up here in the hills and well over 100 down in Sacramento.

Too hot to ride but I'm sure I'll be inspecting my pool after work today.

My FJR is over at Jim's place while my garage is in shambles.. so I rode the 2-fitty to work again.

Oh ya, weather, overcast and 70F. Perfect.

It is beautiful here in the Black Hills. I worked hard in the yard this morning so I could ride this afternoon, did something to my back and after taking good drugs an ensconced in the recliner waiting for the pain and spasms to go away!

Hope to ride my clean bike tomorrow morning, have to represent the best bikes in the world, the Fine Japanese Ride, at the local BMW riders club Sunday Breakfast ride. They sometimes get tired of me but I go at least once a month!

Ouch! BTDT bigjohn tho not lately thankfully. Hope you're up & about quickly.

I think we've finally come into summer here. Sunny, mid-to-upper 90s, a little dryer overall than usual but tolerable so far. Have a charity golf outing on Tues- high of 97* predicted. Whew!!

Turned the AC on for the first time this year.

I've been opening windows at night for the cool air and closing them in the morning. With the shades drawn on the sunny side, the house stayed pretty decent all day.

It was 77 in the house this morning though, due to the fact it was 60 outside at 6am and I couldn't leave as many windows open due to scattered t-storms overnight.

Oh well, I guess it is summer.

I know this thread has become how cold it is, or how much snow there is, from all those in the north, but do know while you are riding around that not all are enjoying it right now.

11" of rain last month, and almost 2" this month, all accompanied with high winds and lightning, has severely limited riding for me. Not that I'm afraid of rain, just that it's a PIA with the wind and the bike looks like a dirty shop towel afterwards. Just 2 more months, and it will be riding season again!

So enjoy that beautiful weather you're having, and know that I'm jealous.

I am in Kalamazoo today. The thermometer in the sun indicates 100 F. It's probably mid 80s in the shade. I am going to go jump in a lake.

Overcast out one window. Blacker than hell out the other. Calling for rain and T-Storms. I'm good with staying inside and making some pisghetti sauce.

It is spectacular here and in Cleveland. These are the handful of days we wait for all year.

Got back from Cleveland, and the pool was at 87 degrees.

In the lower triple digits and smokey. Fires are going crazy in the heat. No plans to ride or boat. Starting to feel like that hell hole Beemerdons calls home.
