We turned the corner in PA and temps will be in the 60s all week. Very sunny Easter weekend and things will turn green soon. We can let this thread lie in repose until Fall, or until the Zonies and Californians start complaining about the triple digit heat.

Actually this only applies to those shitholes Sudbury & Winnipeg, the rest of the Great White North has some pretty poor snowmobiling right now.

Freezing rain today which means another load of fresh salt on the roads. Managed to get out for my first (short) ride of the season last Friday but it hasn't been good since then - episodes of light snow and daily high temperatures not much above freezing for the last week. Hopefully, the current weather disturbance will change to rain long enough to wash some of the new salt away before it clears. Still have well over 3' of snow in the front yard. Sunday/Monday are forecast to have highs in the high 50s/low 60s so I'm going for a ride (unless they're lying). We are just beginning that nice between seasons time when riding is possible but no bugs and no yard work to do. Unfortunately, there are lots of potholes and frost heaves to deal with! I won't be needing the lawnmower anytime soon!

Rainy now, but the weekend will be high 70s, cloudy, and rainless.
Going on an incredibly safe ride Saturday: surrounded by 40 or 50 Harleys from Killer Creek. Only 35 miles to the BBQ joint, but just think how many lives we'll save with 40-50 sets of loud pipes!
(An H-D ride is temptation to wear my leather vest over a hoodie with a half-helmet. That would look weird on an FJR, right?)

Frog choker of a rainfall exactly at time to leave work for weekend. Rain wouldn't stop even enough for me to ride home (short ride through town) so I left bike at work. No rain gear either. At least it's in the building and safe for weekend. Wet forecast for several days.
Three inches of fresh snow on the valley floor. We're still debating whether we will ride or float the river this weekend. Fishing reports are good. Looking at fairly calm winds and a high of 65 Friday. Sheesh! Typical spring in Montana...
