Do any of you Kali riders joining in use a SENA BT? If so, let me know and I will be sure to bring it along.
If you're talking bike-to-bike, there are several who use FM or GRMS radios that can also talk with Sacala and Chatterbox as we've done in the past. I should have AutoCom repaired or replaced by then.

I think the SENA Bluetooths can only talk with other SENA units.

BTW, Griff is joining airboss and me on this Kali ride as well. :yahoo:

Given the oral/verbal back and forth by barb and Tyler in this thread, I can definitely use another wingman. I have a feeling barb and Tyler would chew me up and spit me out...if I was alone.

D'ya think!?!?!?

Have you noticed that, while we verbally spar and kibbitz with them, we do so from afar?

I mean...er...I'm 90+ miles safely located from Ty and 1,000+ miles from Barb, not by design but it's very convenient....and safe! ;)

Although they each have a great memory and they converse, remind one another and conspire....really....believe it....trust me.

I was up checking the Sierra snowpack today (had to pick up the cruiser I left in Reno last month). Snowpack is looking fat.

Fog is way beyond 49 today. We'll have to fix this before May.

Hey! Griff

Wheatie's depending on us to watch his back, where Tyler and Barb are concerned.

Mon May23 Leave with other Norcal riders from the Fortuna base, go north on 101 from Fortuna lodgings to 299 east to Willow Creek. Then north on 96 along the Klamath River to just above Yreka. Then south out of Yreka on 3 to 299 west. 299 west to 101 south and back to Fortuna for more rest, food, alcoholic beverages. Stay at either the Comfort Inn or the Super 8 across the parking lot (stumbling distance) from the Eel River Brewery.

The above should look something like this...

The "zoomed in" area roads look like this...

To those that have said they would put me up for the night...there are NOW THREE of us riding together. I/We wouldn't want to take advantage of you guys like that...so unless your place is a huge ranch with lots of space, we wouldn't want to impose like that. PMs being sent shortly.

We still want to meet up with you on this trip and ride with you though. :clapping:

.

Wheatie, Tyler, and the rest of you all--I've been wrestling with a nasty conflict for the 21st since I just recently looked at a wedding invitation that's been stuck on the refrigerator for weeks. As much as I'd love to do this ride and meet up with the group that's already declared for all Tyler's meals and rides, I just can't blow off these friends' wedding. Don't think I wasn't tempted, but. . . Anyway, it struck me that you three amigos' ride will continue on and on after that date, in fact, working its way even closer to me. Now I'm thinking I'll either catch you on Sunday or Monday and see where a couple days' riding lets me jump back off for home.

And you'll be doing some Sierra riding after that too, right? I'd love to share some of that with you guys as well. Sorry I won't see the whole wild weekend group that's been taking shape, but surely some of you will still be holding on for a day or two after the weekend? Tyler, still thank you for all your organizing efforts, and all you guys have a great weekend this spring.

Sorry to hear that Mike...but big family events like that get precedence of course.

We do presently plan on riding a loop out of Fortuna to Yreka, then back on Monday. Head east from Fortuna on 36 on Tuesday ending up in at or near Bugnatrs or exskibums. We plan on staying in that area Tuesday night and riding the Sierras with Rich, et al on Wed and Thursday.

So hopefully we'll be able to ride together sometime when I'm out there. :clapping:

This shaping up to be fun.... Tons of tasty roads to ride here... and Tyler

knows them all!!

If Wheaton give you dictation we need pics... well........ the hell with the

rest of these pukes.... lol I need pics...

Updated the first POST.

Griff has made reservations at some of the California motels that we will be staying at...all the one's that the Kali riders are going to stay at.

In Paso Robles, we will be staying in a Travel Lodge, cuz some others seemed pretty pricey.

Since there are three of use riding out, I will be bringing my sleeping bag and mattress pad on the bike...I don't do rollaways...and I don't share beds...the other two better not either. ;)

So no room in the pillion seat anymore barb...sorry.
