well well....someone remembers, you know I do have a GIVI and can place a whole lot of kebobs marinated in a ziplock back in the back with a giant serving of hummus in one of the saddles. Who said we can't party Lebanese style on the FJR heh?
If there is a grill on oakhurst, we can all pitch in and I can do the cooking and the serving! :D . After a few beers, I can look like the chick in my avatar :flirt:

Hell, we can just get a throw-away hibachi or sumpin'. Armand's kebabs and hummus are not to be missed! Yum!

This isn't the first time Tim has mentioned the KEBOBS. He was quizzing me about them just recently upon finding out that I know/ride with you. I am in if you are cooking Lebanese style kebobs. I'll trust Tim's judgement on this one.
You be there and you shall not be disappointed :)

We just need a grill.

It looks like I will not be able to make the YO-YO- so mite ride will be heading out on june 7th for a mini vaca than off to the Northwest Oregon ,Washington, Idahoe than back to Cali.

Have a good and safe trip. See ya on a ride I the not so distance fiture

weekend rider :) :D

Sounds like Christy and I are in for this. :yahoo:

This is right around the corner, any place in particular to make reservations?

I'd love to finally get on the road and meet some fellow forum riders! Park City looked good but I've got tickets to a Rush concert July 25th. My wife may come along. (Is that okay?) We had done Yosemite a few years back with a stop at Benton Hot Springs. Tioga Pass is a hoot! :yeaahh:

Still working on reservations, I need a few days so folks can post up their intent to go. The hotels get pissy when you get a group rate for 15 rooms and 7 folks show up.

Riding two up is no problem, there's always couple on this trip, can't break any speed records going through the park !! ( tho' some have tried ! )

Heh, heh, heh! This is gonna be a good ride for me... Patti had some cabinets going to her brudda's house in Eugene that she volunteered me to install. I should be there now, but gawd bless ****-ups, the delivery is delayed until... 5/1! Woot! First Yosemite wit youz guyz, then up to Eugene for a week, then home the slow, twisty way! My moon phase must be syncing up!

Putting it the PDA, can't tell what work and the home schedule will be. Looks like a 50 50 chance of going.....

Hope to see ev everyone there and especially the scenery.

Sounds like this run will be the hoot. I will be helping put on my daughter's grad party from nursing school on Saturday. So you all be safe and God willing see you in Park City in July :D . PM. <><

Checked out Oakhurst availability. It looks full up but for a 2 star Comfort Suites at a whopping $130.00! I'm backing out because I remembered we'll be in Mammoth weekend before Labor Day. (and Comfort Suites usually suck) Really would like to catch one of these group rides though.

Kernville, CA is a great destination. Just wanted to plant the seed........HAVE FUN EVERYONE!!

no luck today !!!

The hotel I wanted to use had their computer system down all day because of an upgrade. They couldn't give me any info on availibility or rates.

The restaraunt ( FJR ) owner in Mammoth is closed from the 1st through the 8th for a refrigeration upgrade !!

Stay tuned !!

Ya know? This ride collects them all! It proposes great scenery, twisty roads, comraderie, all the technical advice anyone would ever need/want, and Lebanese Kee Bobs? I am afraid I'm going to have to miss it.

Hey Roger, glad to see you are still around. Havn't seen you since the Paejeia gathering on the Pier in Avila surrounded by sea lions. Let's ride somewhere/sometime?
