My money is on it opening right before the July 4th weekend.

. Plowing has begun but it going very slowly. The estimate I got, and I kid you not, is to have it open by the July 4th weekend. ]

Sometime I almost get it right !
Good call, Dave. Too bad you didn't channel your April 24 clairvoyance into a Super-Lotto drawing.

How about you look into that crystal ball for 2012 and consider scheduling one of your Yosemite rides as a throwback get together for after the passes open?

And the motion passes...........or maybe it was just gas ! :)

Yes I agree the Bi Annual trip is overdue by a year. Let's wait till mid-June and we'll check progress. The fly in the ointment is sometimes the plows clear the road but it's kept closed a few more weeks for road repair. We see how it shakes out closer to July. :D

So where are we with this?????

Also can how about a NoCal ride for Saturday June 25th, we will come over from Carson City for the day....MadMike you are up.

Can I consider this an invite to a group ride based out of Sonora for a couple of days? It looks like you're arranging a ride on the following Saturday as well, but the mid-week dates you've mentioned in this thread actually work better for me.

As of right now all of the passes are closed from the current storm but I think everything except Tioga should be open in the next 2 weeks.

Richard,

Didn't see this one till just now. Let me see room availability for 21st and 22nd night - checking out 23rd. I am assuming you will be reaching Sonora on the 20th night and not 20th morning.

My guest room is undergoing "renovations". New bed and mattress etc and won't be ready in time or I would have offered you a place to stay on 20th and we could have ridden out to the passes from here in Folsom on the 21st and then stayed in Sonora 21st and 22nd nights.

and Russ by all means the more the merrier.......

I picked the Days Inn because it was the cheapest and the most centrally located for restaurants and stuff (bars) in town.
