the only real way to conserve gas is to raise prices to $5+ a gallon. the quickest way to get the american people to "conform" is by hitting em where it hurts the most....in the bank account. People would consider buying more fuel effecient cars and avoiding the HUGE SUV's and Trucks with...

In my area on I-75 the plane uses painted lines or hash marks to time cars as they pass em then radio ahead to the patrol cars and bamn you get an award...so generally you'll never get a warning from your detector... just gota watch out for those marks/lines along the the side of the road.

That throat mic is much more substantial than all the others I've seen I'm curious if it would work at speed or fail miserably like all the rest... My biggest issue is the ear piece being being part of the neck band and just using a single hollow tobe to transport sound to the ear...

Part of that is do to heat build up...early tire life has more area to spread/dissepate the heat build up. The farther you wear down the tread the less area the heat has to migrate to causing greater heat cycles and quicker wear. But thats just my .02 :rolleyes: take it for what its worth

Have not seen anything close to what you're looking for... I have a hotbodies setup coming for the R6 I'll compare to see how close it might be. If you find something close you can always use some fiberglass repair kits and refab on to work on the FJR..... Just an idea :D

Haven't decided. Still too far away to decide on vacation plans yet... all depends on amount of time I get off work around the 4th for my other vacation plans

Nope its still goin strong just workin on mounting it on the stem nut this season. Did you pick up a GPS yet or some EXTRA LARGE saddlebags to carry all your stuff to the next EOM.... :lol:

Well actually yes it is designated to be a track toy with the rare occasion of a street ride. Actually thats my Folks' place. I keep the toys there cus they have a large heated building. I'm in the Northwest corner of OHIO the absolute flattest part of the state... :glare:
