    Chatterbox v. Autocom

    One of the major differences in the top end X1 and the X2 is channel frequency. Anything above chanel 6 is are not compatible. If you are in a group with both X1 & X2 units, both can communicate with the use of any chanel below 6. Channel 6 and above, only the X1 communicates to X1 devices...

    FJR1300A as a first bike

    I know a few people who bought the FJR as a first bike. They take it slow, learn the manage the weight, and eventually after putting time and miles on, they get more comfortable. Its a big powerful bike, and it will bite if you don't know how to control it, so I'd take some advanced MSF...

    Tell Barabus to stay away from the italian place at lake elsinore unless he invites my wife and I!!!..lol He'll know what I mean. Glad you may have found a place to work on your bike. The guys at Jbj cycle work on all bikes, and very nice guys.

    Yep, flamming is what we do here, but usually on the bikes passing up BMW's. I'm certain you'll find the FJR at a dealer somewhere, here in SoCal they are on the floors at almost all the big dealerships. And if you got the $$$$ to pay for the Beemers, you'll most likely to test ride one too...
