Mine Blue Baby sunk in the asphalt and fell over, very minor damage but still damaged. She had a full tank of gas and I dropped it picking it up, did some more damage. Love her even more.

I had to duck from a hunk of truck tire coming at me from over the expressway divider once. I wasn't wearing a helmet (never wore one) when I was riding the Harley but almost started. I won't leave home without a helmet now, the FJR has a need to run a little faster ;) .

Wow FJRRambo that's a long ride for not being in the saddle for a while, even if your butt/back but mostly with the FJR the wrist can take it you might want a little experience first. The FJR is quite a powerful machine and you'll love the 100+ real quick, how long do you plan to be on the road...

Don't know where most of you guys live but, here in Phoenix bikes of all sorts are a dime a dozen, trading is the only way to go. Don't get me wrong you can sell a bike but, it will take forever and you gotta sell it cheap because there are so many.
