    DESPERATELY NEED HELP in Seattle!

Update Tuesday, 7/15 - I have just retrieved my FJR from Renton Motorcycles in Renton, WA. They have a dealership in an old Home Depot building, and carry ALL Japanese brands, plus are adding a wing for H-D. Even have a cafe and pub upstairs, overlooking the sales floors. With a team of 12...

    DESPERATELY NEED HELP in Seattle!

Thanks a million, Guys and Gals. Here is the latest: I have spoken with a gentleman at Customer Relations in Toronto. He said he would contact the service manager for Western B.C., and then call me back. But that was nearly 3 hours ago. I just received an offer locally in Seattle for a...

    DESPERATELY NEED HELP in Seattle!

Thanks. This is good info, of which I was not aware. I am not getting an error code, but the defect which you describe seems like what mine is doing - - - - the rod is moving, but nothing happens in the tranny. I have the bike currently stored at the wrecker service barn in North Vancouver...

    Broke AE

Thanks, skifrik. But mine did not give an error code. The computer thinks the bike is in 3rd gear, but there is no power delivery going to the drive shaft. I am very sure it is a mechanical problem within the transmission, as the actuator rod moves when I attempt to shift by either foot or...

    DESPERATELY NEED HELP in Seattle!

Yes, Michelle, that would be great. I know there are some active members here in Seattle, but don't remember their forum names. There is a University Motors here. Is it the same one that everyone raves about? Thanks. Phil

    DESPERATELY NEED HELP in Seattle!

Will someone in the Seattle area please call me. I am here from Oklahoma, and my AE transmission bit the dust at Lion's Bay coming into Vancouver. Dealers there will not help me, and am also having trouble getting a Seattle dealer to help me get back on the road to NAFO. It is in warranty...

    NAFO via British Columbia

Yeah, ain't that a wicked twist of fate? Based on latest weather map for northern Kawleefornia, we may reroute thru Glacier Park, and Bearly Flying's area (Calgary) before BC, but come back thru central Oregon (Crater Lake). My asthma does not need the smoke.

    NAFO via British Columbia

Eric, my Son, and I are heading out tomorrow for an extended loop from eastern OK to NAFO. My FJR and his Goldwing will visit all possible POI in Wyo, Montana, Idaho, B.C., then come back thru Seattle area, and ride the PCH down to Redwood Forest (if the fires are under control). Then east...

What's the fun in having reservations? My son and I are also embarking next week, for a month, culminating at NAFO. We have a trip iterary, but no reservations. We are carrying tent and sleeping bags, and will just flop anywhere we can. Will be coming thru your fair State during the loop...
