Same here (except in CA it only goes up to 91 Octane). I guess you learn something new all the time on this forum. Looks like I'll be trying the lower octane next time...

Looks like Yamaha has updated their website with the full details about the '06: Did any of the other Yamaha bikes have the COBALT BLUE color? I'm curious how it compares to the Galaxy Blue (darker perhaps?). I'm also curious about the airflow under the windshield to reduce backpressure...

Yep. I think you're right about the arrow... Just looks like the pattern is the reverse of what it should be and channels the water towards the middle of the tire...

When using a blow dryer on your bike get an electric one. I've read on my car forums that the gas blowers tend to mix exhaust gases into the airstream and that some may leave a residue (I've never seen this myself but thought I'd pass that info along). Also, get a "California Duster" to help...

FJR ride sounds good to me! Unfortunately I've been on the road quite a bit and won't be able to participate until sometime in mid-Sept (17th or later). If anyone plans a ride I'm a willing participant but can't play anytime too soon... - Mike
