And miss the 3-4" of snow, ice pellets, and fooking freezing rain expected here tonight and tomorrow ?

Lemme think about this ....

What the hell's wrong with you, Papa Chuy? Too much peyote?

But thanks for thinking of us

:****:

No desire to go to Mexico thanks, I would rather park the bike for 5 months.

Just finishing up the back yard rink for the kids (and me)... -5 tonight and we wish it were colder to make better ice.

Will put up some outdoor lighting to light the rink, have the firepit going, some hot chocolate for the kids and Newfoundland Screech for me.

gonna be a wonder holiday season and winter.

Wouldn't pass that up for a trip anywhere...

90F in Batopilas eh? This is unusually warm for Batopilas and Creel. Don are you organizing a ride on the recently paved road?

It has been unusually warm in Seattle too. No skiing in the hills, little snow in the mountains and no riding for Fontanaman cause his left wrist is in a brace recovering from a frayed tendon and a bit of tendonitis so it may as well be 0F and sleeting here in Seattle.

Actually that 90F in Batopilas in mid-December is not that unusual, since Creel is over 5000 feet higher it probably was only 40F there up on El Barrancas del Cobre Rim.

Hola Jim, I'm always up for a ride to Copper Canyon, staying at Hotel las Minas en Batopilas. I am booked for May, but April is still open for another run down to Old Mexico!
