Thank you Wayne for updating the roster and the rider origination map.

Now I feel included and isolated all at the same time. Looks like I'm the only one coming from the Northern flyover country up around North Dakota. "Insert shocked face." I'll have an 800 mile dash across the prairie Wednesday and i'm hoping to meet up with a couple riders from Indianapolis area for the last twisty leg into Wytheville Thursday.

I see we've gone from Bob's leadership skills to bumpy NE roads to Llam/RDL seats and finally to clean colons.

All I can say is WOW! that is all.

I would like to put this out here, so people can start thinking about it. Please plan to ride in small groups. I do not want to lead a 29 bike group ever again unless it is part of a parade. 5-7 bikes in a group is enough. I do not want to be the "Pied Piper" of EOM this time.

For the record, I was not a part of this large group. Does that mean that I'm welcome to follow you this year? For the record... 29 bikes... holy crap!

Need more people prepared to lead... everyone capable should have GPS routes loaded. I can lead but talk to Tony (101stpathfinder) about that before you ask me to.

I think it was like 16 or 17 (trying to remember the table sitting at Pie's n Pints), but I'm sure it seemed like 29!
Heh, whatever the number was (we need that overhead Fayette Station bridge shot), it was certainly out of the ordinary for FJR gatherings. It's harder to transit areas with traffic lights, there are longer delays at fuel/food stops, and it puts undue stress on whoever's leading...even if everyone's supposed to be "riding their own ride". A lot of unknowns get introduced; it's simply impossible to know what everyone in a group that large will do in a given situation.
