Reservations made so we will see you all there! Anyone coming up through Maryland is welcome to join us. We are coming up Thursday somewhere past Binghamton,NY and arriving Friday afternoon. Looks like we might come up I81 to I88. We will see. I just hate I95 with a passion. We may leave sometime on Sunday to head back.

Room Booked for WNYFJR and Myself! WhooHoo! We'll be coming down the NYS Thruway on Friday until about Albany and jumping up through the Adirondaks in case anyone is in the area that day.

I 81 to I 88 is a lot better then I 95. There are a lot of good roads through the Adirondacks if you want to take the scenic route rather than slab it across on I 88.

Agreed. I95 is the scourge and should be avoided at most any cost.

Sounds like we'll have flks coming frm far and wide to join in this weekend of riding. It should be a heck of a god time.

For those arriving on Friday afternoon or evening, the usual dealis to rumble over to the 7 barrel brewery (conveniently located across the parking lot from the Hotel) for libation and food stuff. Being that it is one of the better brewpubs in all of NH (not a huge claim) it's worth the visit.

We've also ended up there on Sat night as well in the past, but a better choice is Jesse's Steak house just a few miles away. If some folks want to head there ( and remain sober enough to get back) on Saturday we can call ahead and make a reservation.

Do they have clam chowder there Fred? You know, the real kind?!

Just kidding, I don't care where we go. I'm sure wherever you pick will be a good place. Just as an FYI to file away for a later post, if you're taking a head count, I'll be traveling with 3.

Can't wait for this ride! Already shaping up nicely! Thanks, Tom and Fred! :good:

Wait for me for the 7 Barrel Brewery!? Don't know The Plan yet but does 7 or 8 pm work for dinner Friday ?

re: Saturday, I've heard that Three Tomatoes Trattoria in Lebanon has THE BEST PIZZA.

Edit: and I see on their website, they use 3 (!) olives in their martinis yahoo! I mean "uh oh  " ;)

I was just up on Mt. Washington this past thursday! Foggy and cool about 62*F low to no visability, but no rain! That really is a neat place, I love going up there.

I'll give it my best shot though :)

ps - no way I'm riding sweep

The NH Whites ride will not include going up Mt Washington auto road , or Hurricane Mt Rd. Because our home base hotel is on the VT border it is too hard working the eastern roads into a reasonable length loop.

We will hit the Kank, Bear Notch rd, Crawford and Franconia notches, but not Pinkham or Evans. We'll also ride along some cool river roads and go past the Enfield Shaker villages (with a photo stop) on the way back.

CJ, just a heads-up about dinner at Jesse's Steak House, their menu says, "New England Clam Chowder -- Our new recipe made from scratch and loaded with clams" so this can be a chowda run for you also B)
