In Big Sky Country that weekend, family matters. Bummer as this sounds like another great PNW Tech Day!!!!

And was looking forward to winning the longest distance travel award +5,000 miles since last Tech Day!!!

Have fun and hope to catch you all out on the roads this summer!!!

Matt, if you need tires right a way, I have a set of PR2's in the garage we can put on now. You can use those and send me a replacement set.

Unlike many members I have no immediate plans for multi-thousand mile rides and as such can wait to change the tires. Thanks for your consideration and I know - I am the weakest link.

We are just over a week away, I will start sending PM's with address etc. tomorrow. Hoping the weather works out for us, but we will be fine either way. I'm kind of wondering if I have enough time to scrounge up enough stuff to do a horn install while doing the rest.

Do you really need a horn? Every time I need mine I'm kinda busy saving my ass.

Hadn't thought about that...I guess when I want my horn is to show my displeasure at something that just happened. Not something that is happening. Mulling...

I was surprised to see that in Colorado, a horn is required to make a motorcycle street legal...I don't quite get it...especially since nobody hears standard motorcycle horns anyway.

Buy the Fiamms from Amazon.com, they run about $30 for the hi and low tones. Either buy a FJRandy harness, or (better) buy the Eastern Beaver dual horn harness. The install should not require cutting for a Gen 2

...wondering out loud. Is the BIG flat screen going to be set up in the garage by next Sunday? ;) The Race is on and I wouldn't want to miss any of the festivities or the event...

I think I'm being mocked. But none the less, I will DVR the race so that I can leave the TV where it's at. When we are all done doing our wrenching thing, we can reward ourselves with a little race viewing afterward. I did make sure tunes were available. Hudson won't let me listen to Abba cause he is totally into Barry Manilow at the moment. Do you think Panman will wear his Bee Gee outfit again?

I've got plenty of stuff, but if we need more than two or three metric sets at the same time, someone should drag one along. I also have the socket for the steering nut thing (the biggie) and I have the spanner wrench for torquing underneath. I have a carbtune. Lifter block. 10 propane tanks, just in case.

Why don't you all post up if your bringing anyone with you so I can get a good food count. I will add the info to the original post.

Dave, funny you should say that as when I got home from work tonight I put it on the wife unit resounded with a set of sun glasses.

I wish that I could say that she was coming along but I think that it most likely it will be just me, and no not the Bee Gee's outfit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me, alone.

Please also mark Tom Edison for attendance, as he reached out to me via PM here. :) Just want to make sure he's included for directions. ;)

Have you seen Panman in his Bee Gees outfit?? No? Neither have I and let's leave it that way!

We're probably in trouble now, the weather forecast looks good for Sunday. Problem is, it is only Tuesday:

"Sunday is back to looking mainly dry and could qualify as the best day of the weekend as highs climb to the low-mid 60s. But Monday's not looking all that bad either as it appears showers are going to hold off until late in the day and that should allow temperatures to reach the mid 60s."
They never get it right this far out...

:clapping: The wife has granted permission for me to get out for another day, so weather permitting I'll see ya then.
