Dude, next time we hook up I'll definitely let you polish my dog.
Whoa! I hadn't checked this thread for awhile, opened it and shot to the last post to see this. Guessing it got hijacked? Gay hot dog ****? I mean, not that there's nothing wrong with that. Oh, wait...yes there is.

I pity the fool riding behind you!
Oh, I didn't realize he was going for the chili dogs...

Hey Fred W,

New Hampshire ain't on my list yet - gotta favorite hot dog place?
Well, I gave you Fenway Park already, and that would be my alltime favorite, but that's not in NH.

Best place in NH? The Shattuck Golf club out in Jaffrey, NH near the foot of Mount Monadnock. Linky

They had a deal last summer, $50 per person. All the golf you could play and all the hamburgers and hot dogs you could eat at every turn. They even provided a golf cart so the really big eaters could get around the course OK. But it's a really tough course. Plan on losing a half dozen balls on the front nine. My son and I played it one day. Started in the morning and didn't quit 'till dusk. When we ran low on balls we just looked in the bushes for a few minutes. ;)

The dogs are only so-so. I mean hell, it's just a Hot Dog. But the ambiance... man, that's where it's at.

Just coming out of my local Home Depot I saw a small crew of contractors all eating giant hot dogs, so, I had to check with them, and got some real strange looks. But, general consensus is "stop at any Home Depot that has a snack bar in front - best hot dogs going"

Now that's not my opinion, it's theirs, as I've not eaten one of those things in years - nor do I intend to start

Roger, you should try one of the polish sausages wrapped in bacon and deep fried to a crisp.

num nums.

Of course, you'll need to have a portable angioplasty unit waiting for you afterwards.....

When I visit HD, I purposely avoid that stand..... just too good.

I second Don's recommendation of Frank's. I graduated from Cal-Poly SLO in 1974 and I return for reunions occasionally!

The Poly Dollies hanging out at Frank's are as delicious as the dogs! That's also why I endorse Ted's Hot Dogs in Tempe.

Ted's is on University just a quarter mile from Arizona State University. So you have all of those hot Sun Devilettes there!

There is a reason that Playboy and Penthouse are always doing their photo model shoots at ASU. The women are gorgeous!

  good one barb!

i haven't had a hot dog since they were cut up and put in my macaroni n cheese as a kid! now brats on the other hand, i don't eat them very often either, but they are good.
Michelle, I'm using the term "Hot Dog" rather loosely - Brats are accepted as well !!! So? Texas isn't represented yet - what's your favorite place for Brats?

Hot dog this thread is rediculous....but I like Caspers. Not as good probally as Pinks but worth having. PM. <><

Talked with some co-workers out in Iowa and they say to check out the Flying Wienie in Cedar Rapids. Never been there but they say it is good.

Fun thread. --sparked quite the conversation in our household with the verdict being that we're lacking a true hot dog mecca establishment here in Reno USA

HOWEVER, if you were to say "Hot Dog", what would certainly come to mind in most folks mind here is:

Cal Neva, 3rd floor Sports Book ...a place with lots of "character" (translation = dirty, de-generates, despicable).

At one time a good quality hot dog and a Heineken for $0.99 ...then $1.50 and slowly has gone up with the times -I believe it is now $3.00 ...still a great deal for a good dog with all the fixin's and a Heineken to wash it down with.

Now, when it comes time to talk Burgers .....we've go a local place that we'll beat em all. (just ask GZ, I turned him on to the place ....and the next morning he was back there for another one for BREAKFAST!)

Fun thread Hal ....look forward to watching the "Tube Steak 50+" ride.
