Well, I went out yesterday and risked my life to get a photo of a statue of a hog, but the one I went to get was gone. Considering the neighborhood it was in, it's no wonder someone stole it, thus the part about risking my life. But I got out alive. So I went to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock campus and rode around. I would have thought for sure .... but no. So I went to a couple of local BBQ joints, no luck. I did find a mailbox on a rural road that was shaped like a Razorback hog, but there was no safe place to park for the picture. It's just sad.

Would a picture of a picture of a hog work? We have pictures of Razorback hogs all over the place

Similar experience for me last night. I remembered there was a hog farm with a sign shaped like a hog. So I rode out there and literally right before the farm the road was closed replacing a bridge. No way to get through. So I had to backtrack and make this huge loop of about 40 miles to get to the other side of the bridge. Got there about dusk only to find the hog operation shut down and the sign gone.

Then I thought of a motorcycle repair place called "Hog Works" and went there hoping for the sign to be hog shaped. No joy.

Oh well, it was a gorgeous evening for a ride... My niece has an actual pig. Maybe I will run out to see them and see if they'll bring the pig out to pose for me!

An actual pig would be a fun twist.

I've still not given up on BkerChuck's wife's 24-year-old niece in a bikini. Maybe she could pose with a pig

Someone in my neighborhood has a flying pig sculpture that looks like it was made from some kind of metal tank. I could get that one, but somehow I don't think it would be in the spirit of the game to get one less than a mile from my house.

And besides....I can't for the life of me think of what I would post as the next tag!

Since when is it necessary to go directly there? I used to work 12 miles from home, and it'd sometimes take me a 100 miles or better to get home after work.

^ Yeah, that!

A tag one mile from your house is totally worthy. You can then just ride a hundred miles or more afterward rubbernecking for a new worthy replacement. If you don't find one, don't post up the 1 mile tag, but you'll still have had a nice ride. And that is definitely in the spirit of this game. ;)

I can get a photo of a pig and I can get a photo for the next tag. What I can't do is get this stupid leg cast to stay on the footpeg properly. Next week with any luck I'll be able to get out and play. It's been a long, boring summer so far.

This one is at the outlet to Lake Massebesic in Auburn, NH. But there is another one just down the road within about 2 miles of it.

This one has sat for awhile....
I know where one is, but it's 200 miles from me. I planned to get it last Sunday, but the weather map said it was storming in that part of the state, and I feared melting ;)

I could still try for it, but if you want to move on, I'm happy with that as well.

Yes it has sat for a while.

Let's expand this tag to include any old mill buildings.
(There may be an old mill stone inside, after all. You just might not be able to see them.
