That adds an hour (and Turnpike) to my ride...I hate the Turnpike. An old friend had a hunting camp in Tidioute...it's been about 30 years since I've been up there. We used to stop at the Zig Zag Bar on the way up, it was at 69 Beaver St. Lickingville, PA.
Joe,I will be riding from Cleveland via US-422 and OH-88 towards Sheakleyville, PA. From there heading up US-19 to PA-285, PA-173, and PA-27.

It looks to be a little more interesting than the Turnpike.
Yeah...but what time are you leaving? The route that I was looking at, that included the Turnpike was gonna be just over 3 hrs. Your route has gotta be 4+ hrs.
Joe, if you'd like to start from Espyville, PA, let me know. I'll be at Lake Pymatuning and have an extra bedroom. Easy-peasy from there.

Beside, there might be beer or sailboating or stuff like that.
Tom, if I didn't have a 50th Bday party to attend on saturday...I'd take you up on the offer. If I don't hurt myself to bad on Saturday, I'll see y'all for lunch.

Cool Joe! I wish I was 50. I'd celebrate too. That was almost 12 years and 40 lbs ago.

Hey Dean! Can you add 2 more to the list? My buddy Peter and his wife Kerrie will be joining us on the ride and for lunch. Looking like a party!

Called the Canoe with how many yes's and maybe's we have so we are good to go!!

If a few extra show (4 or 5) they will be able to handle it. Just an FYI, they do take credit but a $10 minimum charge. I'm shooting to getting there around 11:30 but told them plan on seating us at noon. If I'm delayed for any reason tell Roxanne you are part of the Dean group, sorry I didn't think of anything original for us.

Really looking forward to this but more importantly have a safe ride!! See you on Sunday!!

Ok this isn’t Edinboro and hope everyone doesn’t mind the lunch stop being about 50 miles further east than planned. Just talked to Roxanne at the Tippy Canoe Inn and she is good for us coming on the 23rd. Here is the address: 99 Hill Dr, Tidioute, PA 16351, she said there are signs on 62 pointing you to the place. I hope the Ohio guys don’t mind riding a further than planned. Came across this place and thought it looked a little too good to pass up. I was asked to call on the Thursday before to give a more accurate head count, I told her now 10 to 20 people, so she can have enough staff to handle her regulars and us.
We have a date and a place, I love it when a plan comes together. I am really looking forward to this.

Dean, this information should be in the first post so anyone can find it quickly.

Just wanted to say one more time, thanks to Dean for organizing the ride to eat. We are looking forward to seeing/meeting all of you ugly mugs, and your lovely ladies.

Yepper, thanks Dean... and, instead of "Deans Group", can we be on the "Deans List" instead?

So fer any of you wanderer's who want a stop on the way home (especially for you northerners)... I will lead (a bunch who want to go?) to the Ellicottville Brewery.

Oh yeah, you can sip a 'Panty Dropper', or/plus, get some to go!

I really should get my wife a little thank for not giving me any grief for being gone all day having fun. ;) I'm in.

I'll add this to the first post since it's kind of important: I did a Google search for gas around the Tippy Canoe and it didn't show anything close by. Just want to give everyone a heads up to plan accordingly.

I've been down that way many times. There is a Keystone gas station about 600-700 feet north on 62.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend this fine event.

I'll send a pm to Dean, but it looks like we just added definitely 3, maybe 4 more riders. My co-worker/friend Stu on his V-Strom (that he bought because his Harley broke down in New Jersey a month ago, and it's still there being "fixed"), his wife on her Harley, and a friend of his. Stu has an appreciation for this type of community, and is excited to ride, meet, and eat.

Its good to know what Stu had and what stugots according to an Italian friend of mine.

Will the Tippy Canoe be able to accommodate everyone?

Thanks John D!! Did a street view this time and saw it, it is a very short distance north of the Tippy Canoe. I'll update the first post.

Yes they can. Called them this morning adding a few to the numbers and they said no problem. We're up to 23!!

Well then. Cross Stu ' s crew right back of the list. He just dropped his bike. Tipped it over and broke off the brake lever. So not only is he pretty pissed at himself, he won't be making the trip for lunch.
