Bummer. That's the same day as the Shoot-em-up in Idaho.

Bummer here too. I'll be diving in Cabo :) with no FJR's anywhere close to me :(

Yup...that's the driveway!

For those interested from the north-end, we'll meet at the Carnation $bucks again for the ride down. Plan on coffee and mini bull session and then head south at 8-ish. That'll put us at Auburn's right at 9A.

For those of us that are waaay out in the sticks, Panman and I will begin our ride at the Monroe Shell, corner 2/203 at 7A.

Looking forward to seeing all y'all there!

I live in Monroe we haven't met yet but I would like to meet up and tag along with you guys.

Sounds like a plan! I'm closer to Monroe than Snoho, up in the foothills off of 215th Ave near Mero.

Hi Bryan.

Count me in. I'll bring some eye candy with me, my new '16 FJR. I'll probably do some maintenance

on my front forks (I swapped over the GP suspension from my '07).

Looking forward to seeing everyone again!

5/14 has suddenly become a little problematic, but as discussed earlier in this thread I'd really like to sit on a FJR with risers or Helibar to push me over the edge into FJR ownership (probably now in '17, to get a 6-speed '16 at leftover pricing). I've taken several test rides, and it became quickly (and surprisingly) clear that I need a more upright riding position. If it turns out I can't make the meetup in Auburn, will anyone meeting up in Carnation in the a.m. have risers or Helibar and be willing to let an interested non-FJR-owning forum member sit on their bike for a couple minutes? I'll be the guy on the cruiser with FJR-lust in his eyes...

I'm planning on the meetup there in the morning and again no problem. The ONLY thing that will curb my attending is rain - I don't mind passing showers I just don't like to be soaked especially since I'm coming from Bellingham. Last year's Spring meeting was totally awesome for weather and I'm hoping for the same thing this year.

Scott

Great -- thanks, Scott. I remember your invitation from earlier, and was hoping you might be part of that Carnation group. I'll see you there. And the rain: I get it...I ride for the joy of riding, and while I know it doesn't bother some, I find no joy in getting soaked and chilled.

I'll be in Carnation with risers, at least I will be if I don't need to get out the paddles. :)

Excellent -- that makes at least two @ Carnation w/ risers. Thanks again, guys -- appreciate the help.

I have helibar riser plate sitting out on the work bench just waiting to be installed.

That would be great! I looked over the instructions and they are a little vague. I ordered some torque wrenches got one and waiting for the other.

Excellent -- risers and Helibars, both...that morning's going to tell me exactly what I need to know.
