Wow MD, no real good way. What about Rt 22 ? I'll be cutting right down through the middle of the state...no slabing it for me...about 3hrs. See you there.

22 kinda sucks but I'll probably take that home. I prefer to run up I71 but both of my direct routes to 71 are closed (bridge work).

I'll likely just huff it up 75-675-70.

Hoping stopping for breakfast on 70 somewhere will buy me the time to miss the rush hour in Col. If not I'll just grin and bear it. :D

Right...10:30.The weather is still looking good...sunny,mid to high 80's.
You bastards...

Have fun...and take a picture or two this time showing a little SE Ohio road. :clapping:
Do you mean like these wheatie.....555

Tom

It was a great day...a little hot. Really nice of Denny to share his playground with us. Looking forward to the next ride. 510 miles for the day :D :D

Good to see everyone made it home safe. Thanks for coming over/down

...let me know if you want to do it again.

We'll try to do it with out the deer and bad drivers on Thompson Ridge the next time. :eek:hno-smiley02:

Hey Denny, If you'd consider doing a "do over "on a Sunday, I'd be in. You guy's will never know how much I hated missing last weekends ride. Dave

I'd be in for a week from this coming Sunday. Or even that Saturday. Vactioning with the kids this week and get back late Sun PM.

You and Scrapedup need to take a day off during the week if you want to enjoy the Hocking hills area...to much traffic on the weekends

Dave...I'm in Arkansas until the end of September.

The other guys are right...Hocking Hills gets a lot of tourist traffic on the weekends. We could do something else though...I'll get in touch with you when I get back.Denny

But then again, the Hocking Hills should be in full fall colors about the time I should be in Ohio. It's really pretty down there in the fall, but a lot of cars.

I can probably make the Aug.30th. Hey Gizmo, Even if we can't get Denny to take us around I know enough great roads down there to have a riot with out him. Anybody from around here going to EOM. Post up. Maybe I can ride down there with some of you'se. Leaving Cleveland around 3:00 on Thur. Riding down 800 to the river, cross at New Martinsville, grabbing 16S till dark, crash at a cheap hotel, and ride into Tenn. on Fri. Pretty much 2 lanes all the way down. If you'se are going to ride the "SLAB" down, leave me out. Ride Safely Dave

<hand up in the air>

Hey Denny,

Would you consider doing this again in October? :clapping:

I'm free the weekend of October 3, 17, or 24. :yahoo:

I would need one day to ride down and one day to ride back so I would need to stay overnight somewhere.

Let me know, if you don't mind leading a slow assed flat-lander around. :)

I wanna get me some uh dis dat you were talkin' about...
