Um, uh, yeah... When we left EOM, we rode the Snake out of Bristol - wet roads with leaves in the corners. It was a hoot.

That was enough to slow down Quicksilver. THAT'S saying something, kids.

Hey Joe, Add one more to the head count. Got a buddy on an "05" that will be joining me. Probably wind up making it a whole weekend thing. Depending on the weather we may ride down to Lewisburg WV. and reride some of the "08" EOM. Route coming back Mon. evening. May wind up staying Thur. thru Sun. at the Best Western we'll see. Will definitely be there Fri. night, again weather permitting. Ride Safely...................... Dave

Well, I hope to get these new RoadSmarts on in the next day or two...unfortunately there won't be much opportunity to wear the edges of the tires down much...until SE Ohio...so it will have to wait until then. :yahoo:

We'll watch ouirselves...if Kevin gets a ticket, we'll just wave as we go by. I read that article BABOU and some of the reader comments were hysterical with locals complaining about people driving 35-40mph on 550. Some of the stuff was pretty funny...I didn't hear much complaining in the article or comments about motorcycles, but I'm sure ODOT will be out there on 555 to show their face. That's okay...555 is only a small portion of the good roads that day. :yahoo:

Hey I just got my first ticket in like 20 years this past spring. I'm not due for another couple decades

Those local comments were interesting, they dont seem to concerned about motorcycles, mostly 4 runners and pickup trucks and old people :lol:
