Ok I'll address this.

That saddle sore is gay! Home in time for beddy-bye....Whatever. Ours took 22 hours, 15 minutes and we were working hard at gettin 'er dun!
You must have been working hard and not working smart. Hey fuckwad, your inability to plan and execute doesn't mean the rest of us suffer from the same problem.

Isn't there a minimum time amount per IBA guidelines? Seems like they wouldn't condone average speeds over a predetermined amount.
WTF do you care? We're faster than you. Deal with it. :****:

What do I care if someone wants to travel all the way to WFO and go run hot freeways all day
Contrary to your ASSumptions, I can bet that there will be VERY little (if any) super-slab on this SS1K. Check your facts. :fool:

When I've used it in the past, "O dark thirty" means early... like reeeeeeal early. Way before the sun comes up kinda early.

That be the case. Early, as in our first refuel should be around sunrise. Big D and I want to return in time to have a shower before dinner (seperate showers !! wanna make that clear !! ) - else we'll be sitting at a table all by ourselves .....

And I wanna see how drunk GZ gets at the kart track ..... :p

Oh yeah - and nice fish, TC ! worms?

So..... are the 11 players all IBA virgins?

Nope. SS1K in 2004, BBG last year, Spank Rally '05 finisher here.

But I'm totally stoked about a couple of things here. The venue (WFO), the arena (ALL -NV IBA pin, here I come) and the Rally style format. Very cool.

The following names will be forwarded to Michael Kneebone for inclusion into the Secret 2K-Day Society::: Greg Marbach - 2004 Yamaha FJR1300

Six more riders earned their way into the sparsely populated 1800+Mile Club
So, which one of you manly men are going to make it in under 12 hours (besides the ones who already did it last weekend)? The gaunlet has been thrown down.
You should all start at the same time, heads up. Now THAT would even get the girls excited! Hell, I'd wake up to watch and chase y'all to the city limits....

Thousand mile race? Mmmmm....Danger Will Robinson!!!

TC, I might (and that's a BIG might) be able to break 12 hours - IF I HAD A FUEL CELL !!

But BigD and I are riding just to complete it.

And make it back in time for num nums.

(ooohhhhh - did you use the 'R' word ?? That's a no-no)

Speaking of which, Ian said he'd had a conversation with Ninjaboy... hopefully we can get an update on any progress at WFO...

I am really keeping my fingers crossed on this one. As is TurboDave.

You might want to raise that bar a little higher there Bob? :D

Yes a fuel cell will be a big help to break the 12hr time, unless you can keep your gas stops very short and know where fuel will be every 120 miles or so.

OK Riders,

I just sent out the Rally Packs to all registered players. If I missed you, please PM me right away.

Ride safe, ride far.

Damn, my butt was really sore (I guess this has something to do with the org. name :D ), after 760mi ride down here. I'm feeling better about being able to finish starting at 5am, but worse about my rear.

Anyone want to let me borrow a non-stock saddle for the SS1k? B)

Well well well.

ALL 7 virgins completed the 1K day yesterday in fine fashion. I think thats a record for cherry's popped on one ride.

More later, but a big congrats to all the riders.
