(Jealousy is unbecoming, gentlemen. Considering gold powdercoat for gearshift and rear brake pedals next.)
Perhaps some fender accents, too?
Might as well. He already has those on his jacket and jeans.

As the man said, "Yeehaw, baby!" That explains a lot...

Tomorrow morning, sir, an hour before departure. Wouldn't want your delicate sensitivities offended by unnecessary road grit. And she's a Big Pimpin' POS to you, pal.

ON TOPIC: "What did you do to your FJR today?" Well, tomorrow, I will wash her for the second time in her 24,500-mile life, then jump on I-75 south to Jacksonville in order to get some fresh road grit on her.

Occasionally, it's good to check your fasteners or give an eye check to the underbelly while washing the crud off yer bike once in awhile. I have not washed my bike since Duane took me through that lengthy gravel shortcut last fall...it's time. So I'll do it today, rain or shine.

The Starcom unit took a crap after 8 years of use and UPS delivered the Senna 20s late yesterday.

So today got the tank up pulling wires, GPS, RD, Ipod, battery power, switched power. Bet I get 5# of wire off this beast.

Thinking bluetooth gonna be the shitz.

Cleaned the bike and especially my dark tinted helmet shield so that Hud's gold lever's don't blind me on the way to Cali

Added some auxiliary lights that are very similar to the LR4s. Ordered them from China and combined them with a Skene dimmer. Added a solid state relay with a momentary push button to control the high beam signal. I want to be able to use the regular high beam separately from the auxiliary lights full blast. And I don't want to unknowingly have the lights full blast in the daytime. so the relay resets when the power is cut, eliminating the high beam connection. I still need to add a master switch to control the whole thing and will probably do some general cleanup to handle the rat's nest of wiring I now have.

These things are great. It's almost depressing when I have to go back to low beam.

receive my new shoes (Alpinstar grand torino),

So I take my FJR to try it :) . and enjoy.

For lady FJR itself, I have order a tire watch

You might try riding it past a bucket of soapy water when you get back home!

Just Kidding. I am a bit jealous right now. I have been looking at riding that area of Texas but it is difficult to link that ride to any other ride because it is just so isolated. If you have more pics I would love to see them.

I love this area. Nobody is here.

You could get here in a day. I don't take many pics.

Google La Linda Mexico. Interesting history. Fun dead end road ride to get there.

Rode it to work (first time), and almost dumped it when I hit a big patch of black ice. First pucker moment on the new bike
You gotta be kidding me. It was 84 degrees today and I was sweating like a plow horse working in the yard.

PLEASE do not wreck that beautiful bike this soon. I did that and I will never get over it.

Of course, I understand why you might be a bit anxious to ride the new toy.

I actually thought about that, as I was making a great Moto GP save.
