I bought my '05 used off eBay, but it was from a place just up the road in Concord (national power sports) and I'd already gone there and looked it over. It was just a way to get it at a lower reserve price than their online, or in person, no haggle, prices.

Na, I just bought a 3 1/2 inch by 30 foot roll of 3m reflective vinal tape. I am going to make an attempt at making my own stripes for the 2015. Wish me luck.

I see some Youtube vids in my future. Most likely a lot of paper dolls attempts before I start cutting the vinyl with different scenario's. I will post some pic's.

Took the 08 to work today. Nice to be back on 2 wheels. Noreaster coming in tomorrow. 12 inches of the white stuff. Hopefully it won't stay around long.

Hooked up a intelligent maintenance charger up, my FJR hasn’t been ridden in 15 months, although it's been brought up to temp quite a few times.
Still be awhile until I'm riding 2 wheels esp the FJR, bloody Crohns.
Riding 3 wheels ok and I took the TLR out under escort last week, quite fun really to have ridden 2 wheels, still very wonky and frail.

Thought Mother Nature was going to put an end to my streak today. 4 or 5 inches of snow overnight and into early this morning. Took truck to work and my road hadn't even been plowed yet. Snow stopped by around 8 and sun came out. Winds kicked up and by around 11 our parking lot was dry. Got home from work and stepson had whole driveway completely cleared for me. Took my "cheat route" down to the interstate and blasted down 2 exits then came home. Day 262 consecutive safely in the books.

Cleaned up the bike yesterday and put on my Real Time industries decals on the bags and side fearings. UPS will not be coming down my driveway any time soon. Still not plowed out but I will deal with that on Saturday.

Talked to Seth Laam for about a half hour as he was preparing to make my seats. He asked a lot of good questions and we had a productive conversation (I think). Seats will be in MA next week.
