Scored a set of Muzzy ultralight titanium mufflers off CL for 150 bux and installed them. Now it sounds like a sewing machine on steriods.

Leaving in the mid to lower 40’s this week have had me in full aerostich and with the heated gear on low. Totally comfortable.

Jumped on the bike this morning and headed for the high country. Shot across Campe Verde to Strawberry. Enjoyed myself an Americano and piece of homemade fudge at one of the local shops. Continued onto Pine, where I made a quick gas stop, and shot back down into Scottsdale. Then another hour on the super slab. Till I safely arrived home. Just under 300 miles today.

washed her, gave her a nice massage and put her away for the winter.....

I'm thinking after reading that, "her" needs to become a "him" LOL

Subjected her to sub-40-degree weather for six hours riding home (the long way) from SFO.

Had on four layers of tee-shirts, and grip heaters on inferno. Narrowly avoided frostbite.

I rode to work today. Roads covered in pine needles & busted branches strewn everywhere. One pucker moment but we made it.

I did a loop to Asheville to visit a friend that I met for the first time today. Gent is a rider, and is facing some unenviable struggles. Sometimes you're just where you're supposed to be.

Rode it to work again. Day 234 consecutive ride of 10 miles or more. Yesterdays ride home was in sleet and freezing rain. Not much fun but should have expected something like that, I'd washed the bike the night before.

Trying for a "perfect year". I made it to 294 days when that snowstorm hit in March and cost me 6 days. I really need a mild winter.....

Friend of mine here in PA has documented over 6400 days now without missing. That's more than 17 years!

Well that's something to be proud of...but I also like driving my Veloster Turbo too, sometimes

Man, I don't know about where you live, and I'm sure you're not one of them, bit every guy around here that has one of those is a raging D-bag. I've towed like 6 and one of those guys has been towed twice. His GF hates me!! Haha! I'm guessing it's a capable car for easy money, so it attracts the low-budget Ricky Racer crowd. We had one the other night, banged up on the right front, ran the car into the wheels of a huge F250 with tires that were taller than the car. Totally FUBAR'd the rear right of the car. Then he tried to deny it, except there were tire marks on his car and gold paint on the other guy's tires. Idiots!

Rode to work again in the rain this morning. MaMa had to bring the Ford Edge in for some work. Radiator flush and transmission oil change. It has almost 140K and the price of a new one is to dam ridiculous. I wish the auto market would go south again.

I Also installed some brackets for my cheap ass LED's from amazon for the 2015. Go figure the lights have only 6 inch leads on them. They will need to be extended. Does that make any sense? As they say you get what you pay for. We will soon find out.

Edit: Tomorrows temps to be 27 degrees in the AM. Time to add another layer.

Since picking up new to me 2008 AE, needed all the standard stuff my neglected mistress. Most today including the dreaded trip to a SOCAL DMV

-air filter. Nasty

-brake and clutch fluid (rear brake pedal was going through floor, fixed!). Looked like mud coming out of clutch.

-front and rear PR4s

- case cover on right side (with timing light screw) was dripping oil due to inproper highway pegs install. Replaced gasket and screws.

- which led to Oil/filter change and Final Drive oil change.

Next stop under the tank and think about suspension - no Suspension GB this year I guess.

Won't be today but tomorrow a new battery and rear ABS sensor will be installed.

Fingers crossed that it will revive my 2008 mistress.

I've got to work the football game tomorrow. I love football, but years ago, this job soured that. Oh well, no point in bitching about it....

But Sunday at daybreak, it should be about 48 and clear. Warming up to around 75 and not a could forecast to be seen. I've got nothing, and I mean NOTHING holding me down.

Now, pray tell... what shall I do with myself?

Watch football?

Yeah, right.....
