I almost made to your house, next time I'll bring my laundry too!

Chilly, but warming to the 60s under a crystal clear sky. Off to Huntsville (Rocket City) and Muscle Shoals for some Big Money Rally points. See you around!

Anybody want to guess on weather forecast for Boston area next few days?? Yup, more snow! Possibly 2ft more between now and Tuesday. A February ride is looking very unlikely for me right now.

I already missed riding in January, which is my first missed month in over 3 years. Ooops, I forgot I did get one ride in at the beginning of the month to bag some Big Money Rally points before the snow and ice shut things down.

Yeah, this year may be the one that pushes me over the edge. Flatlandistan is looking better and better every day.

No need to go flat.

They have curvy roads in upstate SC...and gas prices a frugal Yankee could love.

WheatonFJR beat me to it. The southern Appalachians have been tres chic for retirees since the Vanderbilts. Four seasons, but winter is short and mild.

My two winters in Boston are proof that I can endure ridiculous amounts of snowfall but have enough remaining brain cells to return to the Promised Land. It's a free country; you don't HAVE to live there.

8*C, sunny with occasional clouds. The ice and snow is melting from my yard and driveway

And I'm glad to not live in Kitamat where they're digging out from a record near two-meter snowfall:

I heard rumours of freezing rain today so I stayed in bed and refused to look outside. It was very comfy.

-18C with a strong north wind. Snow and blowing snow meant I had to clear the driveway again this morning. At least the Polar bears have gone further south.

Fukabunchawinter.

Raining to pouring to drizzling and back here. It crossed my mind to take the bug killer up on his offer (in 1281) and show up at his nearby doorstep on the FJR. But then I considered that he probably would insist on riding in this downpour. So I went back to the couch to watch the golf tournament in San Diego while praying for even more precip in the north state.

Weather break in the greater Puget sound northern area. Eagles are back, pairing up, hanging around nests. Norman road across the flats just N of Sylvana, wandered by Conway, flats on Fir island rd, lunched at Farmhouse inn, went around bayview, thru Edison, up Chukanut and back. Bow hill to I-5 and home for chores. About 4 1/2 hours and 160 plus miles. When it ain't Northwetting its a glorious place to live. Baker was brilliant, others were not to shabby either. Suspect some of the other folks were out today also.
