No Longer Wanted Looking for right driver foot peg for 2007

Those don’t match the pegs on my bike. I found some on eBay, only $10. Thanks though.

I am still in need of one. How much do you want for it?

No Longer Wanted Looking for right driver foot peg for 2007

Ok, here's the story. I was riding along the Florida Turnpike in a construction zone with heavy traffic. In front of me a big hunk of truck tire tread (alligator) comes sliding across into my lane. I did not have time to avoid it and ran over it with my front wheel. It was kicked up and slammed...

No Longer Wanted Looking for right driver foot peg for 2007

I had a foot peg broken off by an alligator (the rubber variety) in Florida. I am in need of a right side driver foot peg complete with the rubber and the knuckle on the end. It's for a 2007 FJR1300A, but my guess is that all years are the same.

    Has anyone lowered their FJR?

My wife and I have a pair of 07's. Initially she was not able to straddle the bike and stand flat footed. We first replaced the seat with one from Corbin which helped a little. The next change was to put on the Kouba links, which got her to the place where she could stand flat footed. The...

Anyone in Colorado have a Russell?

Josh, You are welcome to come and give my bike a test sit. It has the Russell Day Long, and has not been lowered. I think we are not too far from each other. Send me a PM and we can meet up some time. John

Colorado FJR owners. Where are you?

Another Colorado member checking in. Truth is I have not been on the forum much since NAFO in 2008. Between work and a remodeling project, I have not found time for it. However, we have still found time to ride. We just returned from a 4000 mile loop through the NW. It was a great...

    Riders wanted

Chris, my wife and I might be interested in meeting for an occasional ride. We have a pair of 07 FJR's. I have not been on the forum much since NAFO last summer. We started a big home remodel last August. I have managed to get out for a few rides so far this year, usually just a short ride...

I need a new rear tire at NAFO

I've got a BT020 front and rear that just came off of my wifes bike after 4350 miles. The rear might have 1000 miles left in it. I also have all of the tools to change the tires if that might help. I'm in Longmont. John

    Any Colorado members around?

My wife and I bought a pari of 07's last Sept at Coyote Motorsports. They are at I25 and 58th Ave. We got a good deal. John

Barbarian Jumper Modification for Gen II bikes

Jon, Thanks for the excellent writeup. This is on my list of things to do. I also need to do the ECU update. John

More Fun Stuff to do at NAFO

There are a couple of great places to eat in Idaho Springs. Stop by the Tommy Knocker Brewery and Pub and have a great beer and a buffalo burger. Or go by BeauJo's and have a Colorado style pizza. John

    2007 FJR1300AE: First Month's Costs

My wife and I each have our own FJR, that means every farkle costs twice as much. But then I don't get much grief about spending money on the bikes. John

Run Up the Beartooth Highway Video

My wife and I rode over Beartooth pass twice in July 2005. We started the ride that day in Sheridan Wyoming. It was raining so we put the rain gear on before we left the hotel room. We had a great ride over the Bighorn mountains, stopped in Greybull (my wifes birthplace) for lunch, then...

Colorado Roads to Consider for Trip To/From NAFO

DaveT, you have put together a great resource for Colorado riding. Those are all some great rides, and some of the best Colorado has to offer. +1 on CO141 through Gateway. We were there a few years ago, when they were just starting up. The restaurant had only been open for a few days. We...

    NAFO 1K and 1.5K RIDES!

Wow, how long did the ride take? You are one ballsy rider. I've been up in the Colorado mountains lately, and it is not a pretty place to ride these days. ;) But the skiing was great. John

    NAFO 1K and 1.5K RIDES!

kaisdad, That was a great write up on your SS1K, thanks for sharing. I did an SS1K ride back in June 2006 (clicky). I still have that paperwork buried on my desk. It seems that every ride on the bike is an adventure of some sort, and the longer the ride the more of an adventure it usually is...

More Fun Stuff to do at NAFO

I don't think you will be disapointed with the beer selection in Colorado. Denver ranks first in the nation in beer production per capita and second in the number of breweries. There are more than 100 breweries statewide, each with its own style and flare. Colorado's capital city of Denver...

    NAFO 1K and 1.5K RIDES!

I mentioned to my wife that a Colorado SS1000 was being planned, and to my surprise she said that she might consider riding it. But I'm concerned about heading off on a ride like this with her, as it is not her usual riding style. I did a SS1K a couple of years ago with a buddy, but we just...

More Fun Stuff to do at NAFO

New Belgium has some good beers, but you don't need to go as far as Fort Collins for a great microbrew. Boulder has a number of breweries (Avery, Boulder Beer, Twisted Pine). Longmont has the Pumphouse Brewery, and one of my favorites, Left Hand Brewery. But the place I would recommend is...
