ABSOLUTELY!I'm In. Longstreet and the "Dusk til Dawn" bar for sure.
For me, Steve and anyone else from NorCal, it shaves 143 miles (2 1/2 hrs) off my trip home. That might be the way to go Mike, Thursday and Friday at Longstreet and Saturday at The Dow Villa in Lone Pine.....and home from there Sunday AM.

Whoa!!! Am I reading this right? The Prez of the CBA posted this? I can see you having to put yourself on probationary status soon.Whadda bunch o wimps..
Sleeping bags only at Furnace Creek.
Sleeping bags only at Devils' RaceTrack
Sleeping bags only at some unknown location with lots of Peyote.
Hotels? We don't need no stinking hotels!
As an aside - last year met a German couple who 'illegally' camped at Dante's View.. and may I tell you they had the best campground in the entire park?
Dude all you had to do was read the title of the thread and you would have been clued in........ :yahoo:Are you planning on March/April to catch the potential wild flowers and compete with all the sight-seers or the non-peak Nov/Dec/Jan/Feb for the riding and bondng? If i organized a ride would anyone show up?
The dates are by no means fixed. I was thinking we could either do the Long Street again or Lone Pine, what does every one think?
We could probably get a deal again at the Casino, I for one vote for the Casino but will go with the majority.
Post up your thoughts.

P.S. i know this is way early but BeemerDon is not doing the BMW Death Valley ride next year so thought i would get started early to make sure we can get rooms.
MM2, do you anticipate on any more grand kids showing up about that time?
Let us know R when it is and we will ink it in on the calendar.
Peyote: "Breakfast of Champions"! Half a million Yaqui, Tarahumara Indians and Comanchero Apaches throughout the Southwest and Northern Mexico can't be wrong about peyote!!!Reading the old Casteneda books, again, DC? I once had a station wagon full of those nasty tasting little cacti. Could have written a cookbook on the various ways to prepare them so as not to hurl. It's been a long time since then, though....'course my perception of time might have been totally messed up.
March/April:Are you planning on March/April to catch the potential wild flowers and compete with all the sight-seers or the non-peak Nov/Dec/Jan/Feb for the riding and bondng?
That isn't up to me....and it never was. I'm merely an invited attendee at arrivals, I'm not a member of the planning committee.MM2, do you anticipate on any more grand kids showing up about that time?
What...now that you know it's being considered you aren't going to check the Ride Planning section? :blink:Let us know R when it is and we will ink it in on the calendar.
