We (Cec &me) will ride with anyone as long as it is a trail wide enough for us. First time in Moab but have been to the Pauite Trail several times. Hope this turns out to be as fun. Joe (Tucson Joe)
There's at least one trail (10 Mile Wash) that should work for you, and there is a bypass for another that is dirtbike only. You guys on 4 wheels can meet up with us at the sand dunes while we take single track there. Those are the only two I can think of at the moment that we'll be riding that is 4 wheel accessible.

Huron, are you planning on riding a dirt bike or a 4 wheel....thing?

...I will be riding routes called "Nuzzling a Warm Muff" and "These Pillows Have a Heartbeat".
Damn!

Don't hurt yourself, Donaldo.
My beautiful and lovely Miss Donna is big chested, also Mick she is extremely warm too! jes' sayin' and nuff' said!

As for dirt nutso people. It seems that it will be the following:
Patch308

Hotrodzilla

Yamafitter

BigD (assuming his balls drop by then)

and maybe a quad/razor or two...let me know if you 4-wheel guys want to follow along. There is a trail or two you can take with us and there are always the sand dunes.
I will be riding my BMW F650GS Twin "Salma Hayek" over FODS VI, but I will not be going on the "nutso" trails.

I will be riding routes called "Cuddly Bunny Rabbit" and "Wandering Wildflower Way". I am leaving "Devil's Dropoff" and "Satan's Serpent" to Patch308 and the "nutso" squad!
ahhhh maybe it would be better I will go with you Don.... instead of with the "you know who" crew. Will we have time to smell some wild flowers?

I
I'd rather being smelling those Wild Flowers than the Nutso Squad after they **** themselves sliding down into that hole when Mary don't want them on her trail!

I researched many of the trails in Moab to find the trails that are capable for dirt-bikes, atv's and side-by-sides. There are many that offer really scenic over-looks, historic artifacts and semi-challenging accesses. Some areas surrounding the National Parks only allow vehicles that are licensed for the road and some charge a small fee of a couple bucks.

Of the 60+ trails, some are rated 7 (Very Extreme and/or Dangerous), while many are rated between a 2 and a 4 that won't cause you to drop your machine into a 30 hole or ravine, or even worst, a 2,000ft cliff.

I will obtain links again tomorrow and post them on the Forum for anyone interested to look at. I had them ready to post only to lose my internet connection and lost what I had typed out. I know Joe and Cec are bringing their side-by-side and probably many from the AZBeemers will be bringing their 400lb+ Dual-Sport bikes that they don't intend on riding a single track that only offers a mountain face on one side and on the other side less than3 feet away is a drop off of hundreds or thousands of feet straight down.

That is the BIGGEST candy assed looking dirt bike I have ever seen. It reminds me of one of those huge lifted 4X4 trucks with huge shiny tires that has never been off of a paved road.

Now...I'm definitely not saying I wanna ride any of that crazy assed cliff hanger **** or drop Joes bike in a hole, but they're gonna get dirty and maybe even fall down.

Baby!!

HRZ, can BigD actually READ my posts? Didn't I say the trails that we're going to be on are EXTREMELY rideable and won't result in falling off of cliffs (of more than a couple feet)? The guy that fell in the hole was operator error, so instead of turtle waxing that shiny blue thing, throw a leg over it and ride the wheels off it! ONCE AGAIN...(this is for YOU BigD) The trails WE'LL be riding are "F.U.N.", not "T.E.R.R.I.F.Y.I.N.G." It is off-road, however, so the opportunities to drop your bike WILL be there. Don't worry BigD, it gets easier after you drop her a couple times...

Oh, Joe, are you planning on heading off for a ride with us on your side by side?

Hey Patch...I just realized that we're gonna have to let BigD lead all the rides. Otherwise, he might get that wax job dirty.

Patch, I would like to ride with you guys if the trails allow it. I think it would be fun to ride with friends.

I don't know if anyone else is on a quad or sxs. I have to admit I am getting excited to go. Put a winch on the RzR this past weekend,

I just hope I won't need it.

I'm getting my new bike all prettied-up, there will be no "dropping in a hole" in my immediate future for myself or me bike!

Hopefully we will be able to find a mudhole so I can roost mud all over that trailer queen.

Nice bike. Want.

Y'fitter, you have my permission to dig a new canyon in Utah (who'd notice?!) whilst roosting it unmercifully.

I got those stickers out of a Wheaties Box yesterday. Dirt comes off! And Joe, will that winch reach all the way down into that hole, it looks to be about 30'? So you noticed the nubs are still on those tires! I have a couple ATV's (2004 & 2006) that still look brand new. Remember me, I'm the guy that washes his FJR at the end of each day riding!! Gotta keep those babies looking nice. Scratches? What in the hell are scratches? I plan on riding her tomorrow or Sunday, I'll have all of my **** installed by then. The larger gas tank is supposed to arrive today. Besides, riding in the dirt is like swimming, you never forget how to do it. Besides, it won't take but a couple days to refresh myself enough to whip a bunch of *******
bleh.gif
that spend more time picking their bikes up off the ground
haha.gif
(or pulling them out of some hole) than actually riding them.

The winch as 40 ft. of cable so I guess I can pull anyone out that falls in.

No one I hope. That could ruin you day.

Joe
