Fred, All, I'm in...

I will be arriving 1-up Friday evening and will try and make drinks and dinner at the brew pub (@~7PM).

I will ride both Saturday and Sunday.

I will join for dinner at Jesse's (Steak and Chowdah) Saturday night

I may be there for dinner Sunday night.

I may do the Monday AM to Mt. Washington etc.

Looking forward to it!

Just so everyone knows, there is road work around Exit 20 off of I-89. I did not check it out but I know a couple of people who drove over that way and they told me about it. I'm hoping it'll be almost done by the weekend we are there but I figure the crews are "milking it" for all it's worth. Just wanted everyone to know and take their time.

That is FANTASTIC news, Barry!! I was really hoping that you'd be able to make it.

Added you to the tally.

Garmin doesn't acknowledge anything Apple. MapSucks will not run on anything that Steve Jobs has touched.
That is what happens when Apple does not allow open programing source code. And, also why Macs are pretty much virus free.

Will this help: Clicky

I was told that my proclivities were normal and I would bet that Bust has my back....I mean...sorta ! Why do I have to explain things to a guy that wears parochial school dresses on weekends! Off Topic sorry but I couldnt resist.

Aroostook: though Wellingtons may be your favorite boots (don't forget to face the sheep toward the cliff so they back into you) getting me all excited about the midgets is just a little :eek:fftopic: don't cha think

(sorry bout this... CJ made me do it) :assassin:

Will find out . . . ;) Thanks Dave!

I'm wondering what time some of you might be at the hotel on Friday. I'm thinking of blowing off work and ride over to meet some of you.

Hey Tom, my plan is to boogy out of Augusta Maine around noon so I should be there around 3ish maybe even earlier if I can get out earlier.

Chris

That's what I was thinking. Be there around 4 PM and hang around till about 6ish to talk to the "incoming" riders. Seeing as I'm not staying there I can't stay too long (I only live an hour from the motel). If no one was going to roll in at those times I'll just go riding instead. Looks like I've talked myself out of going to work (I work 2nd shift 3 PM to 11 PM).

Tom

OK, I got my new Penske installed, mounted some new rubber and changed the oil and filter and thought I was ready to go. Well I was ready until 5 minutes ago when we received a phone call with news that there had been a death in my wife's family. It depends on when the funeral is but right now it is looking like we will have to skip this ride. I think my wife was actually looking forward to this more than I was. We'll keep our fingers crossed that it will still happen.

That sucks and sorry to hear about that. Hopefully things will work out and the two of will still be able to tramp the roads.

Hey kids, here's a fun new idea for our lunch on Saturday's ride!!

Right across from the Fabyan's Station restaurant we planned to stop at is the Bretton Woods ski area. They have a restauraunt at the top of their quad chair lift called "Top of the Quad" and they run a barbeque lunch setup there in the summer months. Tickets for the chair lift ride are $12 per person, but that includes an $8 voucher towards lunch. It'll probably end up costing a total of around $20 per person, but you'll get some really nice views on the ride up and down, and also from the outdoor dining deck of the restaurant.

I figure that we can split up and anyone that doesn't want to take the ride up the mountain can just go across the street to Fabyan's as originally planned and we'll just meet up in the Fabyan's parking lot after lunch. With 34 of us this year, we would have overwhelmed the kitchen at Fabyan's if we all ate there, and lunch would have been a marathon.

I don't want to jinx anything, but:
click carefully
I just saw the Sunday forecast on TV (local channel) and your jinx looks like it's kicking in. Just hope the rain holds off till later in the day. And for those of you who are traveling RT 4....watch out for LEO's between Bridgewater Corners and Woodstock. I know you'll see one someplace.

Hey folks,
Anyone that has solid plans (like... reservations) for attending the upcoming 2010 FJR Greens and Whites ride, please check in here with which days you will be attending, so we can compile a list and prepare the restaurants for our arrival in advance.

Please refer to the discussion thread for what, where, when info, and any extraneous discussion, and limit posts to this thread for commitments (or cancelations :nono: ) for the weekend only.

Thanks very much in advance for your cooperation.

So I'll kick it off here:

I will be arriving 2-up Friday evening before drinks and dinner at the brew pub (@~7PM).

We will ride both Saturday and Sunday.

We would like to join for dinner at Jesse's (Steak and Chowdah) Saturday night

We will not be there for dinner Sunday night.

But I will return (solo) to ride on Monday AM to Mt. Washington etc.

That's all we need.

EDITED - To add the current tally of participants

Looks like I'll arrive Friday in time for drinks and dinner. Looking forward to riding both Saturday and Sunday and will join the group at Jesse's for Saturday dinner. Will peel off from the ride at some point mid pm on Sunday and head home.
