Yeah, 2nd this^
Route? Hell, it's in the first post. I'm leaving here, riding to New York State. Oh, maybe you meant specific roads! Nah, that's not how I roll.

Seriously, I haven't decided if I'm heading east from here, or north up the Sierra Nevadas into OR, WA, or ID, or if I'll start west and work my way up the coast. I'll probably decide once I get the engine running Sunday morning. Um, I did fill the tank today, so at least that part's done.

Mike, as you head east, if you decide to cross Kansas, then I recommend that you keep to the north of the state. The further south you go the worse the crosswinds are.

And, if you really want to see some good stuff, head north and look at the route FredW just took on his epic ride. US 2 is very nice as well as other similar routes across the north.

If you are looking for a night's lodging in the Catskills I have a couple of spare rooms. PM me for information if you are interested.

If you're passing through Michigan your welcome to stay/stop here Mike. Just scored a new jug of Laphroaig.

SacramentoMike, make sure you ask Barry and Sheila if you can stay in the "Sheep Room"! That's where yamafitter - Billy Fitz stays when he visits Owosso, Michigan, with RaYzerman19! jes' sayin' and nuff said, BAAA!

I love Mike's SPOT track - seems like he and the FJR were about 50 miles west of Newport, Oregon at one point. Not sure what road leads that far out into the Pacific Ocean - maybe he's got some kinda James Bond FJR that doubles as a submarine?

Haven't posted cuz it's too damn tedious on an iPhone but here's a short one. I'm in Coeur D'Alene and heading to Sand Point. Great ride up there along the Clark Fork River - 200 - state route I think. Then either Glacier NP or down closer to Y'stone and the Beartooth. I don't remember riding out into the ocean, but . . .

So far, so good, weather-wise.

p s if you're interested, I'm putting a few pics on Twitter @sacmike99
