Here is a picture of our Lab Puppy Oso biting SkooterG in the leg. I'm going to have to work harder at training Oso, I told him to bite GreggieM in the balls!

He's a great little guy - friendly, playful, and never put his teeth on me once.

OK, no one else is stepping up to the plate here, so I guess I'll be the first to ask...

Don or Oso?

Bret Old Buddy, don't answer that question! OK?

Geek, I'm glad to hear that the ketteh is a little better...good mojo still flowing your way. I took this pic last night....Rooty misses me when I work long days:

Thanks - we appreciate it.

I won't say she is out of the woods yet, but she is doing much better. Her appetite is slowly returning as is her thirst. She is still way down on weight, as well as still being a little bit lethargic. Even for a cat.

So, the vet wants to see her again either late this week or early next week. Time will tell, I guess.

And that's a funny picture of Rooty!

Another fast lens to play with. Got an ancient Nikon 85mm f:1.8. The thing is a beast. Big steel barrel, heavy glass. Not much larger physically than a 50mm prime, but weighs one-and-a-quarter pounds! Anyway, here's a quick flash shot I got of Mocha, as she sat still long enough for me to get good manual focus. Huge aperture gives extremely shallow depth of field.

Over the last few nights, Sooze and I noticed that Scully seemed to be slowly losing any ground she had made up.

Last night, it was obvious that she was losing the fight with her kidneys.

This morning, at 10:30, with Sooze and I there petting her and telling her we loved her, Scully quietly and peacefully went to sleep.

We'll miss her.

Rest in peace, and suffer no more, krazzy kitteh.

Our last picture of her.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Aw Hell...Sorry for your loss Andy. Years ago I had a cat named Issac that had kidney issues too. You did the right thing.

My Labrador Retriever Puppy Oso turns six months old this coming Sunday, I think Oso has me trained just the way that he wants me!
