Sounds like you moved to Sudbury. I had to scrape the windows on the truck this morning :/Rode it to work again...35 degrees this morning, with today's high around 66 and sunny.

I heard the same from some of the folks that drove in this morning.I had to scrape the windows on the truck this morning :/Rode it to work again...35 degrees this morning, with today's high around 66 and sunny.
You know, I didn't even notice anything at the Ramble...I dropped it off at the dealer to have the damaged plastic and crank case cover replaced under insurance.
I know. If the bike was a few years old, I would have just sanded and repainted. Now it will look almost new but with farkles! You know, I didn't even notice anything at the Ramble...I dropped it off at the dealer to have the damaged plastic and crank case cover replaced under insurance.
Consider moving back up yonder? Joe says it's a lot cooler there these days.My AC is not working...hope the workmen fix it soon.
I hope to replace the right headlight bulb on my Gen 3...need to also change oil and replace the brake fluid...overdue.
Need Griff to move down here quick like so he can help me check valve clearances on the 04 before I hand it over to my son in July.
HA-HA...you can't get rid of me that easily! If I get too hot, wifey and I will just get on the bike and head up past the Saluda Reservoir and continue to Roan Mtn. woot!!!Consider moving back up yonder? ****, I've got an 03 carcass sitting on my lift that needs to be put back together and have the valves checked. Just wait a month Mark and we'll have two to do.Need Griff to move down here quick like so he can help me check valve clearances on the 04 before I hand it over to my son in July.
2 cm or mm? Mine was probably out 1 or 2 mm on the CarbTune on the first sync. Didn't make a wits worth of difference.Gave Ginger her "600" mile TBS check at about 2500 miles. 3 and 4 cylinder were about 2cm higher in vacuum, but adjusted easily down. 1 was the white painted air screw. I'm sure other guys have found this out, but by temporarily disconnecting some of the pair piping it was a whole let easier getting 1 and 2 vacuum caps off and back on.
Ha! Funny you should mention that. I got a hankerin' to check out a road up thataways. Rt 197 between Burnsville and Barnardsville. Last time I was there it was in a frog strangler of an all day down pour. There's about 4 miles of it that's dirt, only we didn't know that at the time, so we turned back. I wanna see where that goes. Mebbe Saturday...hmmmm.HA-HA...you can't get rid of me that easily! If you don't mind the four miles of gravel, it's a nice road. The gravel keeps it from becoming "The Dragon" hahaha.Ha! Funny you should mention that. Best bet for getting the vacuum caps off and on is a nice long pair of roach clips hemostats.
I'm thinking you still have a hole to drill in your current bike's tank...****, I've got an 03 carcass sitting on my lift that needs to be put back together and have the valves checked. Finally got a decent ride in, about 380 miles. Yesterday I did some higher speed interstate, some leisurely country and some tighter twisties of Rt 197. The dirt/gravel wasn't too bad but there were sections that had relatively new gravel so it was still pretty loose in spots. Overall a fun road to do.If you don't mind the four miles of gravel, it's a nice road. The gravel keeps it from becoming "The Dragon" hahaha.
