Ok boys i have played with the route abit and with approval from the big chuy himself the route is now the following......
From the casino we head directly to Dantes view ( a view not to be missed)

Dantes view to Badwater.

Badwater to Furnace Creek for lunch Via Artists Drive.

Furnace creek to Stovepipe wells for a look at the sand dunes.

Stovepipe to Ubehebe Crater.

Ubehebe Crater to Scottys Castle (take the tour)

Scotty's castle out to 95 headed for Beatty (stop here for what ever)

Beatty to Rhyolite (ghost town)

Rhyolite to 95 and down to Lathrop Wells then down 373 to Casino.

This route is 296 miles and easily doable with lots of sight seeing stops.

I just checked on mine, all is good except that all the rooms are non smoking........ don't they know they are in Nevada?
The solution was to upgrade to a suite with a patio..... guess where the bar will be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is BYOB though.

Richard, Many thanks for your offer of allowing us to set up the bar at your patio suite! I'm very sorry, I didn't know about the lack of non smoking rooms. I recommend to all if you're coming via Las Vegas, stop at Liquor Barn to get your booze.

Looks like Cometman (maybe), Johnny80s, and Coldcut will be in Vegas on Thursday night. I will be staying down south of the strip. I have offered the extra bed and couch to Mark and Jeff.
