Called again tonight to confirm my reservation. Asked to speak to Charlie, who promptly told me to just speak to anyone at the reservation desk. I believe poor old Charlie must be getting inundated with people from DVD.

Apparently the Longstreet Inn has recently become under new management which have changed rates. However, our rates are guaranteed at $29 for queen/queen no view, $39 for queen/ queen with a view of the Pond and $59 for a mini-Suite. A mini-suite has a single King bed and a fireplace.

Temperatures are currently in the mid 60's during the day and low 30's at night. I inquired whether there was a room 106, they informed me that room 106 is a mini-suite and it has already been reserved. I figured Niehart must have grabbed it! :dribble:

Room at the Stratosphere with two queen size beds was $32. Tax put it around $40...Close to what you guys are paying....

Ha, ha; that would be so classic if Niehart has grabbed room 106 for "Cantina 106" again. Big-D, perhaps we should ask Best Western Kachina Lodge in Taos, New Mexico if they have a Suite 106. Might be worth keeping "Cantina 106" tradition alive for SW-FOG 2010!
