Orestes: If you look to the West you will see me raising my hand for home brewed Irish Poteen. That Eire poteen that you brought with you to the Pyrenees to share with Teerex51, Captain Hook, Beppo, Caba, Dr. Bob and I was outstanding!

Fairlaner is absolutely right about our American hard liquor being cheaper here than in the United Kingdom or on the Continent, he's correct you can buy it cheaper here than you can even with duty free allowances. Please bring the poteen for the resident FJR Forum Paddie *******s: Would be Old Michael and myself, I sure as hell wish that our third Mick could be on this trip: ShinyPartsUp, also known as "that ******* weasel" by Miss Barb. Do these Canadian girls kiss their Mums with those mouths? David, after we get you to my house from the airport and settled in; we will go to the Liquor Barn up in Mesa and stock up. Buy your Scotches there and I will pick up a bottle of Herradura La Plata Especial for barb and Mary Ellen.

Uncle Chuy, don't paint my sisters with the same brush as me. Shiny knows why I call him that, :)

Orestes Mate

You are one brave brit, going to the back of beyond with this of load reprobates. Just one word of warning if one of them wants to show you the worm, just make sure it's in the bottle of tequila !.

I have a feeling that you are going to find out ALL about the wonders of tequila with this crowd !. :dribble:

You know you should bring these guys over some real rough scrumpy cider, something that's not too common here.

Good luck out there, remember to keep the British end up by gad sir! , second thoughts Barb is there :D ...... you might have to be careful

If the worst happens you can just lay there and think of England

Now that might liven up the party (or cause everyone to pass out). Let's have a case of Taunton Dry Blackthorn cider shipped over for the festivities.

Dear Orestes, Please bring over a bottle of Taunton Dry Blackthorn Cider and put it on my tab. If this is what it takes to get Jill and Andy to the party, so be it. DABRIT, please considered yourself invited to join this fray; bring escapefjrtist & Sock Monkey!

ShinyPartsUp, I sure wish that you could make this bash My Friend! We Fenians are going to be outnumbered by the Brits.

Have to talk my Dubliner amigo Seamus MacTreinfhir into making this event. Just thought of something even better: Though he's an Italiano, we could convert johnny80s into a temporary Hibernian. The way Count Porcula eats, drinks, belches, farts and generally screws up: He could pass for Irish and nobody would know the difference. GalaxyBlue could be Irlandes too!

I am seeing if I can make that ride. Are any rides planned. Maybe ride to to the old Atom Bomb Testing Sites and look east for weird **** coming out of Area 51.
blueman: It would be great if you can make this ride and please bring your Lady with you! I am bringing my Lady Rena with me and Dr. Rich is bringing Old Michael with him; a very nice couples weekend of riding. Here is the traditional ride that I like to lead on Saturday: From the Longstreet Inn over to Furnace Creek for breakfast and coffee. Having been in BMW Riding Clubs for over forty years, it gives Papa Chuy a chance to catch up with old BMW buddies and longtime BMW friendships.

Then going North we'll visit and photograph the Ubehebe Crater. Then off to Scotty's Castle to take one hour historic tours.

I've taken every tour of Scotty's Castle the National Park Service offers and I highly recommend the Mechanical Engineers' Tour. Scotty's Castle had advanced state of the art for its day mechanical engineering features; very fascinating for a guy!

We usually always stop in Beatty for lunch and to do a little afternoon gambling. It is also fun to ride up to the Shady Lady Ranch and line up the bikes in front of the Brothel for a photo opportunity. Don't forget to support your local working girls!

Then back to Longstreet Casino for dinner and partying. Doesn't sound like much, but trust me, this is a 375 mile M/C day!

The next day I always exit the Park via Badwater and Dante's View. With this routing you have seen all paved Death Valley!

If you come on a dual sport motorcycle such as a Kawi KLR or a BMW GS; you can ride a thousand miles through Death Valley!

BeeDon, what kinda FREAK would do that? Sheesh!
MY kinda freak! Still negotiating to get that weekend off work. If I do, it will be a GS adventure. I tried some off-roading with the FJR, during SW-FOG. I just don't have the talent that RJ has for riding the FJR as a dual sport.

Saludas y Recuerdas La Pinguina Plata! Que pasa? I certainly hope that you and Andy can make this event. If you two bring your dual sports I will hook you up with Mike "AZBMWRIDER" and Geoff "ROUNDEL" of my BMW Club "AZ Beemers".

They intend to ride Titus Canyon, Zabriskie Point, The Racetrack and many other Death Valley trails. They'll ride with You.

How the hell did I get dragged into this unholy mess? I've tried to avoid this thread because I knew it would make me envious. So noooooooooo, I had to take a peek. And what do I see? toilet mouthed women and the men that encourage them bantering about the internet, discussing a defenseless chap in nowhere, Oregon. This forum is going to hades quickly. I fear for us all.

Where's my poteen when I need it.....? :assassin:
