Lets go ahead and everyone chime in for dinner time suggestions, then we can get a solid dinner time and let the hotel know. We are still coming. We will be staying at my dads about 30 min away. I look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

Most anytime for food works for me as I will probably be in the cage and it is only about an hour and a half from the house.

Trying to get out of work on Friday so I can head down and ride Friday and early on Saturday, yet have to be in Gresham around Edited: 6:30 pm on Saturday.

Planning to join up Sat. morning as I will be riding from Tri-Cities. Sounds like the ride might be going through Shaniko en route to Fossil etc. If someone could PM me the route and approx. time, I could meet up and continue back to Maupin with the group.

Thanks,

Mark Mocciaro

I don't think he is asking for directions, just a mid-day meeting place. Has anyone planned a Saturday day ride?

Steve George is working that.

I hear that Duster19 is doing something similar (meet your neighbor).

Might just do the same myself, if I can find a dog sitter.
Finally got the dog sitter arranged (thankful for parents).

As the hotel where we are staying is also the best place to eat, why don't those who are going PM me and I'll let them know how many for six o'clock dinners Fri and Sat.

Please add me to the list for dinner. I got Friday off and a room about two miles away. Would like to ride down with you and George Friday morning. Hammerhead

Time for a T- 1 week check in. Weather looks to be holding, at least Saturday. I just reviewed the thread again...has anyone's plans changed?
Confirmed we have:

AuburnFJR & Mrs.

Beamer Reamer & Mrs.

Hudson

Escapefjrtist

Panman

bikerskier

blufjr

MCRider007

Barabus & Mrs. ?

FJRay & Mrs. -- Sat. dinner

n2osx & Mrs. -- Sat. dinner

Anyone else going to surprise us? Where's the rest of the PDX crew? Anyone other than Duster19 and dustyrains for a possible Saturday check-in?

We'll be leaving early Friday morning from Seattle. Hopefully (depending on side trips) this will put us in Maupin 4ish on Friday. See y'all there.

Would like to make the ride, daughters B-day the11th, other minor issues, accomodations look scarce, what is the route down going to be?

Steve George is working that.
Tell George he needs to work faster, inquiring minds need to know by Friday. :clapping:
You know the roads down there better than anyone 'ol retired one. Trying to put some times to places, which depends on what time we leave the hotel and phase of the moon. What are the AM temperatures going to be like?

Couple of different routes are proposed. First one is 410 - 123 - 12 - NF25 - NF90 - NF23 and either 141 or 142 to SR14. Second one is 410 or (123) - 12 - 97 to Goldendale. Third one for the north crew is Stevens - Blewett - 97 to Goldendale. I'm leaning towards option three as I don't know if I feel like pounding down the rough-*** portion of NF25 out of Randle. In any event, we'll be leaving Monroe at 6:30 Friday morning.

Rather chilly in the mornings, I do not think you will see 50 degrees before 10 AM but temperatures should be in the low to mid-60s until 6 PM.

Friday night's Dinner at the Imperial needs to be about 5:00 no later than 5:30 as they have a wedding rehearsal dinner at 6:30. So those who are planning dinner at the Imperial Friday plan your rides there accordingly.

Saturdays Dinner will be at 6:00.

After last years Saturdays ride this is none to early to be in! When we were leaving Fossil headed back to Maupin a man came running out into the road to slow us down, the reason was about 10 deer came running out of his back yard and crossed the road as he warned us.

We plan on getting back to the Imperial by 5:00 for some bench racing before dinner.

Dinner will be under Kevin Ross's name for those attending.

See ya there Pan.
