    FJR camper are you?

Just thought I'd pass this along in case any of you are bike campers. I found and purchased a 4 man tent from Cabelas.com and I'm quite impressed with it. Best of all, it fits into the side bag with room to spare for a floor saver tent footprint, or sleeping pad. The ad says that it packs down...

Additional Tail Lights on the FJR

If you happen to have a GIVI top case, (v46) there was a guy on the forum that used to make a very nice light kit for the v46 case. I bought a set from him about 2 years ago and they installed easily inside the case and made use of the four circular reflectors on the top of the case. They are...

    Riser question

There is no rule of thumb that I am aware of, but I'm 5'10" and I've got a set of Heli risers on mine. I have back problems and the leaning forward position was hard on my back. Between getting a Corbin "close" seat and the risers, I'm comfortable again. If you're back gets sore, your wrists...

Two Brothers slip on installation HELP!

I agree with some of the earlier notes. I have 2 bros cans on my bike, but with Dale Walker headers rather than stock head pipes/cats. I have a bit of movement too. I can't pull them in and out, but I can rotate the cans a bit. The clamps aren't supporting anything, there is not enough back...

    Modify stock muffler

i remember a while back (I think on Ebay) there was a pair listed where they were previously drilled out as you mentioned. I remember the pictures of the rear of the cans and recall seeing black carbon build up all over the back of the cans where the 6 little holes are. I wouldn't do it just...

    cleaning windshield

Good info on all the cleaning tips. Here's my add: Once a year, I remove the screen and polish it with my Sears orbital polisher and some Meguires Scratch-X. I give it a good 4-5 minutes on each side. All fine scratches are gone and you will find yourself back to a crystal clear sheild. I have...

    GIVI V46 top case

You've got to check out this site for great GIVI prices. https://www.rentalaska.com/Givi.htm I shopped around extensively a few years ago when I bought my V46 and this was the best price I found. Give them a shot. Good service, no problems. PS. I like my V46. No problems, enough room for me...

    Y.E.S. Warranty - coverage question

Conclusion: After a call to Y.E.S., one call INTO the customer assistance center and one call back from a supervisor.... Fork seal covered (the one that failed) I paid for the other one. Might as well do it while they have it apart... Brake pads, covered as goodwill. Tire, not covered...

    Y.E.S. Warranty - coverage question

Thanks all for the thoughts. I work for Ford and I am just used to what our warranties cover, and colateral damage is all covered if the root failure was a covered component. I'll let you all know how this one turns out, but whether they pay or not, the pads and front tire are getting replaced...
