Using Internet Explorer? Try one of the other free browsers. I ditched IE many years ago and have been using Firefox pretty much exclusively.

I wanted to post a picture, and followed the directions, but when I click on the "image" button and get the dialog box and paste the "IMG" link, the screen "grays out" and will not let me do anything. What am I doing wrong?
You need to use online photo service. (Photobucket) Then you can copy and paste pictures to the forum.

Oh, I see... don't paste the "IMG" link from the photo hosting site. When you click the "image" button just paste in only the URL to the image. The button will add in the required IPBoard tags.

Alternately, switch to text edit mode (little light-switch icon on the far left of the edit pane) and then just paste the copied IMG code in.

Not sure if this will show, but this is how I plan on mounting the LR4s

it actually worked! thank you!

I did the "edit" thing, and that was the answer. In another forum I belong to, all you have to do is paste the IMG string, no need to edit...but now I know!
Now you need a Big Foot! So did you try both methods? I see the link and also the picture. Just wondering if the copy paste method worked also.

Dave

I clicked on the edit button, and pasted the direct link first, and then pasted the IMG string which pasted the actual picture

FJR comes after Christmas, working on the Tenere installation until then...

Thanks again Justin!

Want visibility? If a cager doesn't see this, then they are legally blind.

Just some teasers for now, more info later. Looking to hear initial thoughts :)

Looks familiar.

I have been using these for a year now. They do a great job for visibility. One thing about being on the forks they do get some abuse. But hey, there still working. No I don't sell these Jason can take care of that for you. Just my personal touch and now everyone wants in.

I went with the photon blasters, 4 amber with the alert feature and they mimic the TS, also went with the P3s (4 of them) facing the rear

The high beam wire attachment at least on the Gen2 is relatively easy to attach. Most likely you will have the pannels off anyway for access. I just soldered the lead a little longer and stuck it in the back side if the connector. then tie rapped it around the bundle of wires. If I have a chance I will post a picture later.

Dave, any chance for a pic?

Dave - which lights are those?

Here's is what I am working on - Chip On Board (COB) LED Strip. This one is 5 inches. I'll be doing a 3 inch as well. The 5 inch puts out about 250 Lumens, with a viewing angle over 120 degrees, for maximum visibility.

Here's some night shots stuck up on the windscreen. Cell phone pic, so not super accurate as the light has way more glare than real life. These things look super bright from every angle, but don't blind you like an actual aux light will.

Off angle. In real life could clearly see both lights, not just a blob of light.

Justin,

Finally got my LR4's in yesterday. I guess they got held up a bit in the Christmas shipping rush. No big whoop. Not riding anywhere soon anyway.

I was impressed with the build quality and the weight took me by surprise a bit. I was expecting something cheap and light. Not that they are overly heavy, they aren't. Just built a little stouter than I was expecting.

Naturally, I just had to see just how bright these guys are. So I shut the lights off and lit them up on my battery.

Nowwhere close to my Hella Micro DE Xenons. But likely as much or more light than aftermarket halogens. Guys, these are good lights at a good price!

I will have to tie a string to my finger. I can't post until I get home.

Wow, that took a while. That final transfer to sled dog team must have slowed it down. Keep in mind these are floods and the Hellas are spots, so comparing them side by side in the garage won't tell the whole story. When you finally get around to mounting them and riding with them let me know your thoughts. Unless you forget about by the time the snow melts in June :)

Thank you - glad to be of assistance :)

Just placed the first production order for our dimmers. They will have 2 foot wire leads coming out of one grommet, that are color coded for easy wiring. The longer wires will make placement easier. The case and wire grommet will be sealed with 3m 4200. The rheostat will be sealed with a silica washer. Price is going to be around $35, so with the FJR discount, should be right around $35 shipped to your door in the US :) .
