Brother Bill, Do your Old Papa Chuy a big favor please! Will you please check in at the Sapphire Gentleman's Club and see if Cherie, the black stripper with the natural blonde hair, is still dancing there? Muchas Gracias, Mi Amigo!

You'll be fine, Michelle, you've got a great brain so you'll be able to process the information.

Be prepared for some emotions to rise up. Don't succumb to the anxiety but think through each wave and ride the bike. You are the pilot, not the past.

If you need to pull over and take a 10-15 minute breather to get yourself in control...just do it.

You know I've BTDT and I understand the trepidation. Trust me, baby steps as the comfort level rises, nothing foolish and stay calm.

Breathe in...breathe out...breathe in...breathe out...

It won't be many miles until your former skills arise (they're still in there), muscle memory re-forms and your confidence will return.

It'll be good to see you again.

Wise words indeed, even if they come from the grouchy old guy :)

This event is shaping up to be one of the best. Sorry that we're missing it. You guys all have a great time, and stay safe. Don't any of you get sucked into chasing the Hondapotamous. They may be sedate and ungainly in the hands of some but I suspect that Richard will have already found out how to get the best out of it.

Looking forward to the ride reports and photos.

I was content to see a pic of MEM on the back of that big honda, now I want to see MEM and Cherie :D

Didn't know this ride was starting on Wednesday instead of Thursday. An extra day in Vegas would have been nice... I think!

You all ride safely and have a great time... Remember Papa Chuy needs his heart medication and should not be subjected to loud noises or too much excitement. If you do see the sometimes invisible Mikie Okeeffe, remember to smile and wave, because you most likely will end of Photoshopped next to a farm animal...Hope you all keep up the traditions of previous years...Rich

P.S. Took the bike out for a spin today around the island... Roads are still a little wet with some sand and gravel. Weather was beautiful... Clear and 58 degrees.

Of course it would have been nice. You could have spent another night cuddled up with Beemerdons in your tightey-whiteys. And this time no drunk ******** to interrupt you at 0200. Too bad you're gonna miss that.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha....

"Born To Be Wild"

Get your motor running

Head out on the highway

Looking for adventure

In whatever comes our way

Yeah, darling

Gonna make it happen

Take the world in a love embrace

Fire all of your guns at once and

Explode into space

I like smoke and lightning

Heavy metal thunder

Racing in the wind

And the feeling that I'm under

Yeah, darling

Gonna make it happen

Take the world in a love embrace

Fire all of your guns at once and

Explode into space

Like a true nature child

We were born

Born to be wild

We have climbed so high

Never want to die

Born to be wild

Born to be wild

Into warmer elevations past Mammoth, and the ride is much less windy here. After being hammered by head and cross-winds over 30 MPH whipping spindrift off the peaks, this was welcome relief.

Good seeing old and new friends. I had a great time. I was looking forward to regroup for lunch with the group today, but it seems like we all got scattered.

See you next time! Have fun and ride safe!
