This product may have started on this web site, several years ago I found directions for making a similar device, from a coat hanger or TIG weld rod, on this site. Someone who is better at searching can probably find it.

Armor shirt (any experiances with these)

Does anyone have experience with armor shirts? Are they not needed for street use? Are they too hot for comfort? I am considering getting one to wear in place of a jacket on hot days or under a jacket for better protection. One web site that has these is...

Garage door remote taking up too much space

Good ideas, but for the really cheap people out there. . . I put the opener in the outer front pocket of the jacket, simply press the jacket in the right spot and the door opens. Added advantage is I use the same opener for the car in the winter.

Sounds strange, but peanut butter seems to work. The oil disolves the adhesive, the goop holds it in place. Apply and let sit overnight.

    CalSci Customer Service

Bought my CalSci about a year ago. Loved the fact that the owner invited me to try it and send it back for a smaller if I was unhappy (I ordered the largest he makes). The covers he sends are obviously made by him, so what, they work. Do other shields come with a storage cover? Edges of mine...

    Question for AE owners

Perhaps a stupid thought but, is the bike actually getting to first gear. I have had similar motions when I forgot to get all the way down to first gear. Bike has enough torque to take off in second but the clutch action is a little wierd. Perhaps when cold it is not actually getting to...

    Using linked brakes

Hi, Brake modulation is not crtical with ABS. . . It is desirable. However, in a panic stop you can "grab" the front brake with all your strength and you will not lock the front wheel. Even when hitting the dreaded white plastic lettering at a stop sign in the rain while braking hard the...

So what's it like to ride an AE FJR?

I have an 07 AE, generally love it. General use is great, traffic is great, slow speed U turns take a little practise with the rear brake (to replace the clutch frictin zone) I really do not ride hard fast in corners anymore, but did years ago. I think that the with a normal clutch I could...
